Hotel Park Villa can really be a prototype for something from Mis Marple‘s stories, except that it is in Austria, not Britain. But the place is full of old-fashioned charm – old villa in a rich and quiet city district transformed to a small and cozy hotel, quaint and comfortable rooms, breakfast at the tables with white tablecloths, coffee from an individual coffee pot. Only a flat-screen TV and quite good WiFi in the rooms indicate that it is 21st century, but not the first half of the 20ieth.
Reception people are very nice and helpful, they will answer all questions and solve all problems. Breakfast is limited but of very good quality, cheese and cold cut selection is perfect. Sleep quality is marvellous: it was dead silence at night and beds are very comfortable. The hotel is not exactly in the city centre, but there is a bus (just the other side of the street) that will take you to Spittelau station in some 10 minutes and underground station is 10-15 minutes on foot, very convenient to reach airport express train or, for sightseeing – to go to Schonbrunn.More
