Stayed here for 3 nights on a city break to Vienna. Pleasantly welcomed at reception and given a choice of floor to stay on. Room was typical budget fare but we found it was more than fine for the two of us. We used it as a base for visiting the attractions and started with the Haus des Meeres which was a 20 minute walk. From there it was another 15 minutes to the museums of the city. We enjoy a walk and found this was not a problem. We didn't eat in the hotel and were able to find some good restaurants nearby. On the final day we were leaving by train so another 45 minute walk took us to the station. A good hotel for a long weekend in Vienna.

Nice room, perfect air-conditioned, little bit darker (few lights). Very good location - walking distance from Vienas monuments and sights. Area full of bars and many kinds of restaurants. Comfortable bed, clean bathroom, very nice stuff!

The room and hotel were fine. Handy for the metro station, the Night Market area is a couple of stops down and a good place for eating and drinking at night. If breakfast isn't included in your room rate don't bother eating at the hotel plenty of other options far cheaper nearby. Get a 24 ticket for the metro, its the quickest and easiest way to get around the main sights in Vienna,

My expectation was lower as it was an ibis. However, compared to the ibis in Budapest, I felt that it being an ibis is not an excuse for some of the experience and observations I had. Bedsheets had some stain which was not replaced even though I left it in plain view for the housekeeping (no bed linen replacement card in room). The nice touch of a welcoming card, although not a must, would have been pleasant as a status member of Accor. Ice maker was down for a couple of days etc. staff not as pleasant as the ibis in Budapest and mcgallery in Prague.

Enquired if the room was noisy but received a somewhat snub response that vienna woods would have been a much quieter location to stay at
