A good place to stay! It's very clean and the staff are very helpful. When we arrived tired after a long day, for some reason our debit card wasn't working. The kind receptionist let us have our room and told us not to worry, we could sort it out the next day. Our Room was lovely, we had views of the town and the harbour. The room was very clean and calmly decorated. A good choice of breakfast was available, and you get free tea and coffee whenever you want it, also free waffles in the afternoon. I would recommend this hotel, its very central and convenient.

We spent a very nice time here. Close to the center. The room was comfortable with the amazing view from the window, where you can see the Tromso Domkirke, a nice ancient church. Rich and magnificient breakfast, where you can try some local food. Last but not least, in the early morning there is a delicious snack with waffle and coffee or tea; it was a bright idea :-) .

Breakfast is good and with a great variety of food.
The contemporaneous room is very clean and comfy and there's a small fridge to store some beverages and food.
The hotel is situated right in the center which is very convenient.

Feels like a factory. Looks a bit like one too. Granted: before our stay at this hotel we stayed at a wonderful 4* hotel for 7 nights so it was always a step down.

Rooms are ok. Very annoying you can’t turn off the light in the small hallway. When you want this off because you want to watch tv or just want it to be a bit more cozy you have to switch off all lights with the main switch. And then you can not use the power outlet near the fridge. And that is where you have to charge your phone as there’s no power outlet on one side of the bed.

View from our room (420) was wonderful! Gets noisy from traffic and on weekends from people going out. But that’s what ear plugs are made for :)

Beds are not very good. Kept tossing and turning.

Breakfast is ok. Lots of choice but very busy and loud. Barely enough tables and the atmosphere of a large school cafeteria.

Location is good in the middle of town. If you have a car: on Saturday from 3pm and Sunday it’s free parking and we were lucky enough to find a space next to the hotel.

This is a reasonably priced hotel in the city centre. I had no complaints. Check in was friendly and quick. My room was absolutely fine-clean and with a wonderful view (see photo). The bed was comfortable and the shower refreshing. A tiny wrinkle was that at about 3.30 I came back and my room wasn't serviced. i explained to reception and they were apologetic and this was done shortly after, so I was very happy with the way they dealt with this. Hotels can sometimes be noisy thought I heard nothing from other guests and got a good nights sleep. Breakfast was extensive-with a range of hot and cold foods. You can pay twice the price to stay at the Raddison but frankly why bother.

Room Tip: Choose a room at the front which overlooks the harbour
