Have been invited there for event so unfortunately had only limited a la carte menu but anyway it had big variety of Asian dishes and also many good cocktails .
And it has nice modern interior.
It was very busy there on Friday if you come around 8pm so be prepared to wait or book table earlier.

Thank lovinsa

The waitress was rude and very impatient, it was a lot of people that night, but that is not an excuse. Every professional knows that. Right? She sighed and rolled her eyes when we gave her some little extra work.

We ate a four course. It was okay. Nothing more. The food was a little dry. You can pay the same price at Brutus (at Tøyen) for instance and get real innovative food made by excellent chefs that really care.

Südöst doesnt attract the same people that hang around Grünerløkka in general, it has a slight touch of Ralph Lauren, bleached hair and botox.

The girl seating people was rude and judgmental. It took them ages to come take our order, there was only 6 tables seated with 4 of those tables already eating so there is no reason to being waiting 10 mins. Wait staff were not attentive nor were the welcoming. We felt not welcomed at all.

Some of the worst service I've had in Oslo. We actually left before trying the food, so cannot comment on it.

Food, service, and atmosphere was all fantastic–I will come back! I have a dairy allergy and that was no problem at all, because there were many options.

Hip, trendy place that attract also attract teenagers as well as retired guests. Something here for everybody.
Soft shell crab starter was a disappointment. Crab soft and hardly not represented in the dish.
Duck was fantastic.
You could tell that there must be a Thai chef, because Pad Thai was very authentic.
Good wine selection, also by glass.
Make sure to reserve a table, because restaurant inside and outside fills up quickly in the weekend
