My partner and I stayed at the Mai Samui Resort just last week and we loved every minute of it! From checking in to checking out everything was perfect.
The resort is beautiful, peaceful and our room that overlooked the massive pool was spacious and very comfortable.
The staff are absolutely amazing, always friendly and the GSA's were very patient and helpful when my partner and I were struggling over which dive trip to choose.
We enjoyed lying on the sun beds by the beach and cooling off in the massive pool that runs through most of the resort.
Definitely check out the day spa, very calming and the staff really pamper you.
The resort is away from the main area of Chaweng which was good because it was very peaceful and if you do want to go into Chaweng there's a free shuttle bus that will take you there and back.
We definitely recommend this stunning resort and would come here again.

Our stay at Mai Samui was great from Check in to Check out. The staff were always friendly and it was good to see the General Manager several times during our stay chatting to guests and ensuring we had all that we needed. . The Resort is located away from the main town centre of Chaweng which means you are able to relax without the constant traffic noise (scooters) and loud music. The Resort offers complimentary shuttles to Chaweng each day. The beach is not great but you don't notice as the pools make up for this. Each night you are able to dine outside on the sand (candlelight tables) with the sounds of the sea providing a soothing backdrop. Rooms are well appointed and the little extras provided in your room are greatly appreciated - complimentary bottles of water each day together with thongs, and a basket with beach towels for your use. The Spa is a must as they provide the ultimate in pampering We recommend you book Mai Samui if you want a relaxing holiday with great service.

Room Tip: Many of the rooms on the ground level have pool access from the room

We stayed in Mai Samui for 8 nights and our experience cannot be faulted! It was absolutely perfect.

Firstly, the staff are incredibly helpful and lovely. From reception to the spa to the bars and restaurants, every staff member we encountered were great. A special mention to Wannee, who was so lovely and helpful the whole time we were here. It's staff like this that make you want to return and never leave!

Secondly, the resort itself it perfect. The rooms are big, modern and beautifully decorated and even the shampoos, conditioners and lotions are special. Our spa bath was amazing and the beds were comfy and huge. The pool is exactly what you would want from a tropical getaway and the view of the beach is amazing. They have a second, slightly smaller pool which is perfect for families with children.

The prices of the food and drinks are great for resort prices, and happy hour lasts for 6 hours... Happy hour indeed!

The location is quite far from the main buzz but we hired a car and a motorbike (I don't recommend hiring one unless you know how to ride) and it was an easy 30 min drive to get to anywhere we pleased. It's lovely being away from the hustle and the resort is located in beautiful jungle terrain. Exactly what you want if you need to relax.

The spa treatments were wonderful and the staff were professional and kind. We had massages and facials and they were super helpful with suggesting what would best suit the individual.

All in all, everything about this resort was amazing and I would certainly return again, as would my partner and family.
