The Hotel has a Great location right on the front with easy parking nearby and only a short walk into town centre. We had a large refurbished room on the second floor with a sea view. The towels were of high quality and there was bottled water and lots of tea and coffee .The room was very clean and tidy .The staff were Friendly and helpful and you could actually have a conversation with them ! We ate in the restaurant for dinner on both nights of our stay and the food and service was excellent The restaurant manager was Lucas he is an asset to the Langham hotel . Excellent full English breakfast was served on both days and the selection was brilliant . We will definitely come back when we visit Eastbourne again .

We went here for our New Years Day lunch booked last minute, but they managed to fit us in, and it was well worth it.

We walked from West to East along the seafront calling at the bandstand for the end of the Free New Year Concert, then inland to the Marine to view their spectacclar Xmas Decs and they are SPE _C_TAC _ U_ LAR darlings!!!!
Then to to Langhams........

What a delight, so welcoming, so warm, so utterly tasteful.

We had the three course NYD menu including some fizz to start, a superb three course dinner including their super roast beef served off the trolley just like 'Simpsons on the Strand' and just as good followed by the most tastiest of desserts flambeed crepes suzette!!!....just perfect,!!

The only and only downer was that my partners dessert was served after I had already finished mine!!

Well done and we will be back for a Tuesday speaker lunch...make sure you look this place up and take attention to their events!!

Dear southerncruiser4,

Thank you for leaving a review about New Years Day lunch. My apologies about the little 'downer,' but great news about all the 'uppers!' New Years Day and all of our Jazz lunches for that matter are great occasions and a really good opportunity to spend a few lazy hours indulging one's self. I am so pleased you had such a good start to the year and I hope to see you again soon.

Best wishes

Had a couple of days stay at the Langton hotel and must say, it’s a first class hotel with great staff.
Was pleased with the room even without a sea view, but with the bad weather there was no need for a sea view !! Breakfast was first class, one of the best think have had, with a very large choice of dishes, served by excellent staff. Only had bar snack but was first class, loved also that the bar stocked a selection of bottled beer and asked if you wanted it cold or room temp. Any real ale drinker knows it’s nice to have this choice!
All staff were well presented and a credit.
Well done to all.

Room Tip: Car parking in roads at the rear was easy, better than £8 parking fee for few spaces hotel has.

We have just returned from our Christmas break which was absolutely brilliant in every way.Our superior sea view room on the third floor was extremely comfortable and spotlessly clean with soft white towels, dressing gowns, slippers, good quality toiletries, bottles of water and a well stocked tea/coffee tray. The food was fabulous with a very good choice at every meal time and nicely presented. Staff are first class nothing is too much trouble and everyone has a smile and always acknowledged us. Neil and Wendy Kirby the owners were constantly available all day every day working with their staff which was nice to see and they are both very approachable and happy to chat. We had very nice presents during our stay from the owners, Marks and Spencer toiletries, bottles of wine, chocolates, diaries, and lots more. A visit to the pantomime was also included taken by coach which was good fun.
This hotel although not the cheapest in Eastbourne is well worth every penny for the superb care and attention to detail. In fact we have already booked for next years Christmas package and so had quite a few other people staying there.

Room Tip: Sea View Rooms are worth the extra cost

Dear bestoffriends10,

Thank you very much for these wonderful comments. As I have mentioned in a previous review - your kind words really do make the staff proud after what has been a very fun and busy festive season. I am delighted that you liked all of the gifts and little surprises throughout and overall had a very holly jolly time. We look forward to see you again in 2018.

Best wishes
