We stayed for a week at this hotel and loved pretty much everything about this hotel and the staff. This is a beautiful hotel with lots of old world charm. It has a few creaky floorboards but that didn’t distract from our stay in any way. We stayed in 2 standard twin rooms which were of a good size and very clean. Beds were very comfortable. One of our family needed accessible bathroom and this was of a good size to allow easy wheelchair access and manoeuvrability. A choice of shower chair or stool was available for this room. The helpful and pleasant staff made our stay very relaxing. We booked the half board deal and found this to be a big plus. We could choose from the either the bar or the restaurant menu for dinner, with an allowance of up to £35 pp. The food from either menu was absolutely delicious and we think the AA rosettes are well deserved. To add to the pleasure of our dining experience, the hotel provided live music on three evenings. We really enjoyed this and especially the harp music. We looked forward to every meal and were never disappointed by the food. We did have one evening where the wait for food became very long.
