Thank you Michael for a great tour of your College today. Extremely interesting and
informative. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Loved seeing the new boats,
Particularly the one heading for Llandudno as we recently saw the new building which
Will house the boat.

We have stayed at the lifeboat college at least once a year for the past 6/7 years. The rooms have been very recently re-decorated and are really nice. They are always clean, comfortable and well looked after. They can be quite warm but this is easily solved by opening the window. The breakfast is nice with lots of choice for the whole family. There is a bar and restaurant which again are fantastic. Whilst staying here you can also do a tour of the training facilities etc at the college which is well worth it if you can get on a tour whilst you are there.

I stayed one night at the RNLI on the way back from a trip to Cornwall.

The location is amazing. The room is modern and very clean. The view is spectacular - perfect for the sunset.
Breakfast was perfect with outstanding views again.

What was the best part? The money we paid for the room goes towards training and educating the men & women who we may all need to rescue us, one day.

There is also a tour of the College which unfortunately, we were unable to go on, due to time restraints.

I would definitely return again and would urge anyone who is looking for accommodation to invest in the RNLI College.

Travelled as a family of 2 adults and 1 child. The staff are very accommodating and friendly, asked my daughter lots of questions about what she'd been up to today and whether she liked Poole, which was lovely. The Hotel is in a great location where there are fantastic views out of every window and the balcony at the bar is a perfect spot to watch the harbour bridge and the sunset over the harbour.

The rooms are a modern style but beautifully laid out with pretty much everything you could need (hairdryer, ironing board, iron, fan etc.) The beds were very comfortable and my daughter thought the sofa bed by the window was fantastic as she could sneak a peak of the harbour out of the curtains, even though she was meant to be sleeping!

We ate in the bar in the evening, we had 2 of the pizza which where fantastic quality and in my opinion very reasonably priced for the size you get. Similarly the breakfast in the morning is fantastic. It's a buffet style breakfast with just about anything you can imagine available. I didn't have a cooked breakfast but I was very tempted as It looked and smelt great. There were varieties of the normal cereals, a fruit and yoghurt buffet, a plethora of different types of bread for toast, a variety of pastries, fruit juices and teas and coffees. Everything on offer looked fresh and of a good quality.

All of the staff at the hotel went, I felt, over and above their duties especially one man at breakfast who came over to ask us how everything was and performed a couple of card magic tricks for my daughter which was the highlight of her trip.

I would definitely recommend this hotel not just because it supports a worthy cause but because it's a very friendly and relaxing environment in an ideal location.
