Great hotel and very close to our planned visit. Rooms warm and comfortable - good sized too with lots of storage space. Bathrooms and showers superb and everything working well too. Staff went out of their way to be helpful. Food and choices excellent. It also has spectacular private and easily accessed gardens. i could not fault this hotel and will certainly visit them again. Unfortunately they could not arrange the weather but we also visited Lyme Regis and went on the Seaton Tramway - both of which were local and easy to find and access.

Room tip: All rooms are quiet, I had an enormous twin room on first floor.

Have just returned from another lovely break at Hunters Moon. Staff are always pleasant and helpful and go over and above what is expected. Rooms are light and airy but also warm. Bathrooms luxurious. The food is excellent, a good choice and very consistently of a high standard. This hotel maintains traditional values, and service as it used to be.

Took my elderly parents for a week. Food absolutely amazing. Staff very pleasant. Very relaxed atmosphere. Dogs very welcome with easy access to "the Byes" for walks. Rooms really cosy and a good size with facility to choose your room. Will be there again next year.

A truly delightful hotel, rather 'Marple-esque'! Perfectly positioned in a magnificent garden within easy reach of Sidmouth's elegant promenade. The lounge and dining-room are comfortable and well appointed, the staff charming and efficient. It has a character of its own, somewhat evoking England as it used to be!

Room tip: Room 14 on the ground floor has French windows with steps straight down into the garden.
