This was our second stay at the hotel: this time we were in one of the chalets. It was a family room, with one double and two singles. The beds were comfortable: firm but not uncomfortably so. There wasn't loads of room, but enough for our daughter to bounce around. The TV was large and easy to use.
The staff were were again very friendly and chatty. Checking in and out was easy.
The entrance to the car park is remains obscure.
It's not an out-and-out bargain, but generally we find Yeovil prices are quite high, presumably due to lack of competition from national chains, and this is one of the more reasonable ones. In terms of value, the main 'issue' is that the rooms are a little dowdy, but not unpleasantly so, and the problem is I think it would take a huge refurb to improve them, which probably isn't cost effective.
Meanwhile, we'll continue to return to the friendly welcome in the future.More
