Description: Established February 2013A family run restaurant offering authentic Thai Street Food in a relaxed Thai Street style of dining. We offer a full lunch, evening and take-away menu which is constantly evolving as Yamin gains more and more confidence in the kitchen, included in these menu's is a comprehensive Vegetarian section and some child friendly options. Not all Thai food is spicy, over half our menu is either non-spiced or mild and Yamin is more than happy to adjust a dish to suit your tastebuds.Large parties (6+) are advised to adopt a Tapas style of ordering and eating as we have a small kitchen that cannot accommodate more than 2 workers, this way everyone gets to enjoy the food as it comes out and no one is left waiting for their dish. PLUS this is how food is eaten in Thailand ;-)

Have used many Thai restaurants but this one has an air of rawness about it, but this works in droves as it was so quirky and original and we had not even tasted the food yet!
We opted for a takeaway as we were tight on time so as usual ordered a number of dishes as it always keeps and often tastes better the next day
We really were impressed by the immediate flavours and genuine authenticity which was delivered in perfect balanced amounts
All in All very good

We have been to the Thai Street restaurant for the 3rd time now and what a great traditional Thai food place! As fresh as it can be! The owner Jasmin I believe is such a unique genuine character. Her food is delicious and she still makes time to sit down and talk to her customers. I suggest you don’t miss the opportunity to try this restaurant on a week night to truly enjoy all of it. It can be very busy at weekends and deserves it! We’ll be back again soon!

This place is an absolute diamond in the rough:do not expect fancy; it is utilitarian and the food is freshly prepared like it says on the label: Street Food.
We watched transfixed as the lady, I assume was Grandmother, chopped and prepared every dish personally in the small functional kitchen which was open for all to see.
The food was delicious and the service friendly and calmly efficient.
I am very jealous we do not live nearer but next time visiting our vegan daughter from the wilds of carnivorous Herefordshire we will be there again.

Stopped by with my wife for a late lunch. Had been recommended this as a friend, and seeing as we fancied something a bit different we thought we would try it out.

Initial entrance was a bit hap-hazard, and it looked shut from the outside. However we soon realised as we walked in that we had found a secret favourite in the middle of town judging by the amount of diners.

Menu was clear and varied and it took some time for us to browse. As per usual I was paying attention to what was being brought out with envy.

We ordered our mains and drinks after a long while and a gentle reminder to the waiting staff that we hadn't ordered yet.

I also can't help but feel our order for a little lost as we were asked again what we ordered and it took a good twenty minutes to get our order.

When the food arrived however we were both very impressed with the quality and portion sizes provided. I was pleasantly surprised and we both thoroughly enjoyed our meals.

I would also say that pricing was also very good and we both felt that we received great value for money.

So if you like Thai food or would like to try something different I would highly recommend this eatery.

This has a very family business feel to it, it's not high brow or posh nosh.

Provided you go in with your expectations set and time on your hands, you will be in for a treat!

Wow, really impressed with this hidden gem, which was recommended to us.
Amazing food, everything we ordered was delicious. Twelve year old daughter loved it, apparently 'now her favourite restaurant'.
Extremely friendly and helpful staff.
Highly recommend .
