We visited the pub for lunch while on holiday - unfortunately we only discovered it on the last day, otherwise we would have definitely returned! A traditional pub interior with lots of nooks and crannies. There is a lunch menu and an evening menu. Lots of choice - all freshly homemade and seasonal. 2 of us had the chicken, ham and leek pie, with saute potatoes and veg, and another had a lamb casserole - the portions were very generous and wonderfully tasty, all fresh. Nice to not see a menu full of the usual burgers/chips etc and more traditional home cooked foods - similarly the desserts were homemade, mostly fruit based on what was seasonal - we had a summer pudding and a raspberry cheesecake - none of the usual chocolate fudge cake to be seen. Would definitely recommend - it is worth finding :)
