You know what to expect with a Premier Inn & although this was an older hotel, the room was as you would expect.
My issue was with the WiFi. I upgraded to Ultimate WiFi for an extra £5 and everything was fine for an hour or so before, unexpectedly, I lost signal/ connection. I tried turning off devices (phone & iPad) but could not get the WiFi back. Frustrating as I'd paid extra etc.
The following morning it was working normally. I mentioned this to reception. They were apologetic but unhelpful. Apparently there's a helpline... There's also no phone service in the/ my room (139) and I didn't feel like using the reception landline at 1.30am.
Anyway.... Crap internet. Decent room. Don't pay extra expecting to get a good service.More
