The Albert Hotel is welcoming and warm and comfortable and right in the centre of Kirkwall. We had a lovely winter break there and enjoyed the quiet bedrooms and the excellent breakfasts and dinners. It was a lovely trip!

Visited for one week on business. Small boutique style hotel with public house attached , very comfortable rooms with all amenities, service was excellent . Resterant was choice of formal dining room or pub food , same menu in both . The pub had friendly local atmosphere and the food choice although limited was reasonably priced and freshly prepared .

Pretty reasonable. Good breakfast including the early morning takeaway breakfast. Comfy bed, decent sized room and spotless bathroom. Great for business. Only downside was some of the customers behaviour in the bar was a bit embarrassing (due to drink) which meant that we didn't eat or drink there. Staff were pleasant and helpful.

Reception excellent, thank you. Room very good, all that you would require. Problem occurred at night with the noise from customers of the bar below. Noise carried on till early morning. Even closed windows ( which I hate) didn't help. Food served in restaurant very average.

room overlooked the bar below. The noise until early morning was horrendous. The restaurant food was average

In every way this place is excellent. Incredibly friendly and sweet staff. The rooms are quality and the beds are so comfortable. Two bars and dining area. Free WiFi. Honestly wonderful
Recommend to anyone and would stay again.
