I stayed here for a recent business trip and was pleasantly surprised. The room that I had was large and was in immaculate condition, everything looked fresh and new. Bed was comfy, bathroom had all the facilities and was large also.

Brekkie was nice, plenty of options to choice from. Both hot and cold food available. The only small downside was breakfast was served in the conservatory and it was really cold in there when I had breakfast, a wee bit more heating in the room would be great especially in the winter.

Would stay here again for business and pleasure.

Thank you for you're lovely review of your recent stay at Karrawa. We are delighted that you enjoyed all aspect of your stay. Apologises that the conservatory breakfast room was a bit chilly, the radiator was set to 19 degrees but it hadn't warmed up in time that morning due to the cold snowy weather conditions outside. We have adjusted this since for the comfort of future guests. Best Wishes, Aileen & Albert

We travelled recently to Orkney and luckly selected the Karrawa Guest House, which was very conveniently located. We arrived at the same time as the remains of Hurricane Maria, which really meant there was a bit too much wind and rain to walk to and from town, but that was ok. The property is nicely outifitted, with roomy conservatory/dining area for their excellent breakfasts. Lots of parking. The guest rooms are roomy, modern and well equipped. The staff are very helpful, and friendly. We would have no hesitation about returning to the Karrawa Guest House

Comfortable room with large modern shower. Friendly and helpful hosts. B&B on the outskirts of Kirkwall but an easy walk into town and ideally situated for exploring Mainland, Orkney. Would recommend this B&B.

Really enjoyed my three-night stay here. My small double was just right for one - very comfortable. The guest house is within easy reach of all the main attractions, you can walk into the town centre if the weather is fine. The hosts are friendly and helpful and I particularly appreciated the kind attention of their housekeeper. Would definitely recommend this guest house to others.
