David and Beate are the warmest and hearty hosts I have ever met. It felt like we had known each other for years, so we sat together over whiskey and gin and told each other stories until late in the evening and then fell blissfully into the cosy bed. We felt really comfortable, as if we were coming to our second home. The next morning we had a rich, lovely breakfast that strengthened us perfectly.
Thank you once again for the wonderful time and the many tips for our trip. David knows the Highlands like the back of his hand!

Breakfasts were superb, The hostess makes her own jam and we enjoyed porridge with whisky syrup. Assistance in making the best of local facilities was friendly and comprehensive,
Bathroom fittings are modern and high quality, though the en-suite is quite small. Bed was fine. House is close to a main road but this did not bother me. Plenty of places to eat nearby but booking is advisable.

We can highly recommend Haus Alba, the hosts are so very welcoming and friendly kern to make sure you get the most from your stay in the area. The rooms are lovely, well furnished and extremely comfortable. The home cooked breakfast was first class. The only problem we had was that we couldn’t stay longer

Great stopover in Grantown on Spey at Haus Alba. We were heading north and broke our journey up here. Hosts were both incredibly friendly and knowledgeable and it was really nice to share family experiences with them- felt like we'd known them for years Room was immaculate and beautifully decorated. Breakfasts were spot on and accommodated for my vegetarianism even though I only mentioned it in conversation. They also offer whisky tours and hill walking activities which has made us think about another trip to the area in future. Couldn't have been better.

Room tip: Parking was on the street but not a problem

David the host welcomed us at the door. Took us up to the room and explained everything to us. He offered to help bring in our bags.
A better equipped room you could not find. It had everything you could possibly need. From a sewing kit to a wee dram of whisky.
Breakfast was indeed a treat.
Our daughter stayed for one night in the other room. She fully concurs with our thoughts and review. w
We were sad to leave after our short stay. David wished us well and would welcome us back.
I will definitely take him up on the whisky tasting. I'll bring the sandbags and lantern for swinging. (Those that know know).
