We were recommended to The Lock and were certainly not disappointed. The menu was excellent with plenty of choices. The roast beef was superb with very generous portions. Dessert was too tempting to turn down and the stuffed baked apple with cinnamon ice cream was heavenly. The staff were helpful and knowledgeable. I am gluten free and they were able to advise which dishes could be adapted.
We will certainly return as it is well with the 25 mile trip.
