I eat here regularly..great atmosphere, lovely staff, cosy restaurant selling unfussy fresh Italian food and has a pizza oven where bespoke pizzas are made.

We were staying at the forest camp site up the road so should of been BBQ all the way but ended up here twice ! Good food with good staff reasonable pricing, only negative was the overall experience was better on the early evening booking as oppose to the late one. Gets booked in high season.

The meal was lovely, great little spot sitting in the sun outside. Staff very very accommodating, they stayed open longer for my fiend to arrive for lunch who was caught up in traffic. Would definitely recommend.

The pasta was the freshest I have ever had. Food was excellent. However the pertions were on the small side. I cannot eat large meals but our main course would only qualify as a starter at most places. We were not disapointed in the quality which could not be faulted. However for the price we felt the portions should be better.

What a delicious surprise. We dropped in to Albero on the off chance last Friday night, hungry and, rather foolishly, not having booked a table anywhere on the eve of the Bank Holiday weekend. It was after 9pm so we hoped that a few customers may have left by then, and we had no idea what to expect...we were warmly greeted by the manageress (I assume) and quickly taken to a table in front of the open kitchen area. Menus arrived with a lovely dish of crackers and tapenade, the perfect accompaniment to a very good glass of house red. The menu was varied, but the manageress offered to accommodate my husband who wanted something that wasn't on the menu, telling us that anything could be done for us.How lovely! In the end, we both chose the pasta special of the day which was absolutely delicious, with prawns (plump and in generous quantity), courgette, chill and a white wine sauce. Oil, balsamic, salt and pepper mills sat conveniently on a little stool next to our table. The service was efficient, friendly and attentive -- thank you to ALL the staff -- and we thoroughly enjoyed our food and also watching the pizzas (which looked great) emerging from the clay oven. We will definitely go back.
