There is a huge amount of militaria. Including tanks, armoured cars, uniforms and weapons/kit from various eras. WW1 WW2 Falklands and Desert Storm.

Quite a drive to find the place, but a nice little attraction for military lovers. It does look a little tired and could do with a little t l c. for example - cleaning, better dummies, lighting of displays. Lots of interesting items and the N.A.F.F.I truck cafe was very reasonably priced. Loved my tea in an enamel mug! Shop with different military items for sale and a lot of bargains.Could just do with a bit of an update, but we enjoyed the visit and everyone there were very friendly and made you feel welcome.

Greeted in the car park by one of the cats. Tea and cake from a NAAFI wagon in an enamel cup and reasonable prices. So much stuff inside and some very specialised. Something for everyone even those who have specialised knowledge and interest. The getting there is quite a narrow set of lanes.

Visited with my grandsons aged 8 and 6. Rather apprehensive after reading some of the reviews. With the boy's giving the visit a "high 5" you have to ask what were some reviewers expecting? It is what it says on the tin, a farmer's private military collection that got out of hand. You have to go around twice to take everything in, so refreshments from the NAAFI wagon at the half way stage is a good idea, nice home made cake. Two hours I'd say is about enough, but you can stay all day if you want, with picnic tables outside and many good places to walk the dog. Cobbaton is a pretty little village.
