Easy to find and staff very welcoming. The food was beautifully presented and delicious. Lots of little extras in the room for eg. a rubber shower mat and quality toiletries. The views were stunning. We went in Autumn.

Stayed here last year for a week.it was so good I'm back for another week.it has lovely views of lake Windermere.the staff are absolutely awesome,nothing is to much trouble.already looking at hopefully having another week here.

Having just returned after 2 nights at the Ryebeck Hotel in Bowness where my youngest daughter celebrated her wedding day. I have to say the hotel staff are absolutely awesome!

From the moment we arrived on Friday afternoon to leaving on Sunday afternoon, we were made to feel special. Nothing was too much trouble. On Friday night we enjoyed a nice family meal, the food was very good & the service was exceptional, we thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience.

The same table was reserved for Saturday morning for breakfast, when the service and food were just as good. We then had the whole hotel reserved for our youngest daughters wedding on Saturday.

Every single aspect of the day went without a hitch. The hotel staff again went out of their way to make everything perfect. Setting up the dining room for the wedding service, then when everybody was outside for photographs the dining room was transformed for the evening reception.

The great atmosphere and service continued through the night and culminated with breakfast on Sunday morning. My wife and I are well travelled and recognise both poor and great service. I have to say based on the service alone, this is one of the nicest stays we have experienced. If you couple that with the setting and views from our room, our stay was exceptional. I would not hesitate in recommending this hotel to anybody wanting a quiet break. It is only a few minutes walk from Bowness, and a short drive from a number of other Lake District attractions.

The staff team have only recently come together, but have jelled superbly. They are a credit to the hotel management & each other. The work very hard to achieve everything they have to do to make your stay memorable. Special mention must go to the following staff members; Linda, Roxie, Kevin & Lazslo. They all go above and beyond the call of duty and are refreshingly honest, answering questions candidly.

We will return to experience this lovely hotel again, but I doubt we will ever enjoy a wedding as well organised and executed as this one was. A true pleasure to have experienced the hotel & staff.
