I've been here a few times with my family, and was glad to come back again with the eat out to help out scheme. We came in during the evening, and although it was very busy, the staff worked very hard!

We had the huntsman chicken ciabatta, steak baguette and the steak kebab, and chicken nuggets for my little boy, which was all lovely, and the wait wasn't too long considering how busy it was.

There is also a great little play area that my son could play on while we waited for our food and we had a few drinks.

Well definitely be back!

Just had a 2 night stay with friends. Food was excellent and staff very friendly. Room was spacious and clean with lovely views. They let us pre order our evening meal for the Sunday as we were going out for the day. Will definitely go again.

Stayed here for 2 nights for our first anniversary and what can i say .
room was spacious the views stunning from the front door of our room.
We stayed for b&b and we ate in the bar for our evening meal too food was ok did the trick and filled us up.
We was put in a room with cast iron stair cases which my girlfriend his classed as disabled which was quite a jaunt to get up and down the staircase and because it was raining was quite dangerous for her to clamber up and down the staircase but bless her she managed it just.
The bathroom door wouldnt shut properly has the bottom of the door frame was rotten when we arrived there was a dead fly on the floor in bathroom but left it has i knew cleaners would come in too clean up but the fly was still on floor when we left.
But rest of room was perfect.
Worst part of our stay was on the Wednesday night ate in bar waited well over a hour for food when people around us was getting there's but my personal worst experience was Thursday night in bar sat down and was like being in a play ground the young lads serving serving especially the ginger lad thought he was a ninja warrior play fighting with the other young lads but the best part was when he stood by the bar and decided to put hes hand down hes trousers then started to serve drinks after.
Im a not prude but when your working surely you should act professionally not like a children's play ground.
Would i stay here again ?
Maybe !!

Having to wait an hour for our meal I finally arrived and was terrible, I chose steak and onion baguette meat was tough as old boots, partner had slow roast belly pork should of been crispy it was disgustingly slimy a 100% waste of money.
My advice is DONT go there .
