Had lunch here for a birthday celebration, the food was amazing! Would highly recommend. We had a Sunday roast which was a risk as normally nothing beats a home roast but this did. Well done The Hambrough.....

Had not been to Ventnor for some years but decided to go back and stay at The Hamborough .
Not disappointed as we had a room with balcony overlooking the sea.
Staff a credit to the Hotel - reception welcoming and friendly .
Dinner was exceptional and this chef (Luke ) will go far.
Emma was great waiting at table .
Looked forward to breakfast and again were not disappointed great selection and beautifully presented.
Look forward to another visit.

Room Tip: Go for rooms 1 or 2 which have balconies.

Just returned from a superb 2 night dinner, bed and breakfast break. Wow! The food was excellent. Head chef Luke certainly is one to watch. The food he produced was so creative and delicious. All the staff were extremely friendly and couldn't do enough for you. The room was excellent with wonderful sea views. We were sad to leave but will certainly be back.

Cannot recommend this place enough. The hospitality of the front of house staff, was second to none, very welcoming and warm. The room was everything that you would want from a break away from home, the bed linen 100% cotton, the bathroom spotless and a very comfortable sitting area. Ventnor is a lovely spot for a short break, although very hilly but gave a good work out after such fantastic food. The young chef is so talented and his eye for detail is brilliant, he knows how to marry foods and the outcome is fantastic .He's also so very personable, in fact on our second night we did not pre-order and were completely in his hands, our empty plates told him it was the right thing. I booked this break to coincide with our wedding anniversary and we were not disappointed, would easily come back, again and again.

Room Tip: All the rooms apart from 1 have a sea view, unless you really hate the noise of seagulls perhaps this place is not for you.

Thank you for our wonderful stay at the Hambrough. The staff were friendly and helpful and our room was lovely. We didn’t want to leave. We stayed in room 2. Also, great vegetarian option for breakfast. Complements to Emma and Luke.
