Unfortunately today was around 32 degrees, the vet deemed to hot for Hamish the cub to be out in the strong sun, but apart from not seeing the cub wecdid enjoy our day at the Park seeing the other animals that ventured out into the heat. The drive through the park was ok, then we walked around the different areas, listening to the keepers giving talks at different times through the day about how the animals are looked after, their lives at the park, how they are on the extinction list. Overall a good day out and we will go back when the weather is more to the scottish system and hopefully see Hamish.

Visited her for the first time in May - fantastic place and great value for money! You get both the safari drive-thru area and then the walk-thru park itself. So many beautiful animals, with lots of space to roam around.

It was a hot day when we visited, and the Amur Tiger's were cooling off in their pool. I stood and watched for absolutely ages, mesmerised by these amazing creatures!

The staff are all very friendly, informative and sensitive to the animals well-being. For instance, the wolves viewing platform was closed off as there has been a recent birth and they wanted to keep the area quiet for mum, cubs and the rest of the pack - a decision I highly respected.

We had lunch in the cafe which was good, and enjoyed the gift shop (although I wish they had branded baseball caps!).

I would recommend this place to anyone who has a GENUINE INTEREST in animals and nature!

Well organised, friendly informative staff who give interesting talks on the animals. Just don’t go expecting to see ALL of the animals or you may be disappointed. Fortunately & rightly so, they all have large enclosures - so much so that they may be out of view, but this can only be a good thing as the Highland Wildlife Park is about care & conservation not about putting animals in tiny cages for the benefit of people wanting to view them. The drive through route gives very good opportunities to see the large animals at very close range.
A lovely day out with plenty of spaces to chill or have a picnic.

This wildlife park is one of the best. A great amount of space for all the animals. Set over hills & fields within the Cairngorm. Stunning scenery. A great variety of animals. The Polar bears are great to watch. You can walk the park & also take your vehicle around some of the park.

We loved this place so much we visited it twice last September and twice more in June!
It took us several hours each time and being reasonably fit we enjoyed the walking in such wonderfully scenic surroundings. The enclosures are spacious and all the animals seemed much more relaxed than in many zoos we've visited, none more so than the polar bear cub who provided endless photo opportunities,
All the staff we met were helpful and informative and the cafe well-priced.
All in all very good experiences.
