Have just returned from a lovely break at Saltern Caravan Park. The caravan site is a five minute walk to the town or the beach and there is also a park and ride bus stop just outside the site which takes you into town. Saltern is a small site but that is something I love about it, it's quiet, with lots of families, and felt safe for the children to go out and play in the play area with the other children on the site. We had a canal running along behind our caravan with our own "pet swans" which the kids loved.
Our caravan was modern and had everything that we needed.
The site is situated close to lots of family attractions to give you a fun filled holiday.
All in all we had a lovely time at Saltern. If you want a laid back holiday this is the place to come! Thank you to Julie and Chris for making us so welcome, we are already planning our return for next year, hopefully for two weeks this time as one just wasn't enough!

Julie and Chris were very welcoming hosts. They were friendly, helpful and informative, The whole booking process was simple and efficient and we knew exactly what was / wasn't provided in the caravan. The caravan was very clean and quite big enough for the three of us.The location is excellent and the park is neat and tidy. The free bus service picks up outside the park and is ideal to use to go into town or to the beach. The park is ideal for a family holiday only twenty minutes away from Folly Farm and also quite near to other nationally advertised attractions. There is a supermarket a very short walk away ideal for self caterers. The park is situated next to a busy road which can be noisy at times however this did not detract from our enjoyment at all. We would happily stay in Saltern Park again and intend to do so.

This was my first trip to Tenby but my husband had been as a child and wanted to visit again.

The Saltern Caravan Park is a lovely small park, very close to the town and beaches, within easy walking distance. It's really nice not having to worry about going out in the car, the traffic, trying to find a parking space etc and with this park you don't have to do that. There a free shuttle bus to the town just around the corner from the park but it is so close we never used it.

The park only has about 50ish caravans and was ideal for us as our daughter is older now, so we were just looking for somewhere small and quiet and didn't need a venue with entertainment. The advantage of this park over some of the larger parks that we have stayed at was that once we had gone to bed at night we were not then woken later by people returning from the entertainment at the end of the night!

The owners are lovely, very welcoming and helpful and the caravan was very clean.

You do need to take your own bed linen, etc but you are made fully aware of that when you book.

I was very pleased with the shower. I'm always a little nervous about the showers in caravans as I have had many past experiences of water suddenly running cold or ending up as just a trickle but the shower in our caravan had a constant temperature and good water pressure.

The grounds are very well maintained and there are beautiful hanging baskets and plants and flowers.

I would definitely recommend this park and fully intend to return next year!

A great little caravan park, ever so helpful staff. Small and friendly nice small play area for children and everything was clean and tidy. The park is only a short walk from the town and there is a free bus service that runs from outside the park to the town centre.
