We’ve been coming now for 4 years and it gets better every time, staff are brilliant, they can’t do enough for you, food was lovely, rooms are dated but very clean, we have more people wanting to join us every year this year there was 78 of us next year there’s over 80 booked already, we dance in the ballroom at night, during the day Saturday everyone does there own thing, Sunday the hotel provides a buffet lunch and after we have a class where we learn some new dances, Monday’s the same, the weather this year was amazing we’re all booked for next year thanks again to Nicki all the staff for making our weekend brilliant

Just left this Hotel. On arrival tea or coffee was laid in which s a nice touch. food was very good and service good. Staff did excellent job and diplomatic regarding a demanding and awkward customer entertainment was fine best was Shirley and Steven on a a wednesday night. My room although a bit dated was comfortable and clean. The main shops are about half hour walk.

The hotel is very dated in places and our room was poorly decorated and the bathroom was unsuitable for older people as no grab rail over the bath it needs a lot of updating. The staff and food were excellent though and coach tours great .

The arrival at the Headway was most welcoming with a nice cup of tea or coffee.
Rooms and bathrooms were in need of updating but clean and tidy.
Bathroom was a mash of colours and the towels were well used and could have done with replacing.
A trip to the bathroom in the night we encountered a nail in the carpet, reported next morning " nothing done " so reported it again in the evening and the receptionist herself went with a hammer to deal with it. Why on earth did they have to nail the carpet down in the first place mind you the floor boards creaked !
Food was good, nice selection and always hot when served.
Entertainment was a bit hit and miss, bingo entertained most people.
The staff were very good and pleasant.
A lovely promenade to walk along to see the bay.

Room Tip: Even the rooms on the front were quiet.

It started as another Caledonia Coach Holiday, this year's choice - Headway Hotel - Morecambe.
Our first evening meal was superb and that set the tone for the week. The staff were friendly and helpful and could not do enough for us. The entertainment at night was varied but enjoyable
