Me and my husband went here for a nice meal together. We was very pleased and impressed with everything here. The service was brilliant, quick and friendly. The food was lovely well presented, cooked brilliantly and all served hot. The price is very reasonable I had the evening 2 courses for £15 (there is a lunch option) and there is also an a la carte menu which again is not over priced and for what you get is very good. Outside is the place to eat on a warm summers evening, the view is beautiful very romantic if you time it right with the sunset too!!!! We went without booking on a Thursday evening but I would recommend you book a table for Friday evening and weekends. Will definalty be recommending this place and returning again

As I have said in previous reviews, this place is OK and has the potential to be fantastic. On this visit for the menu gastronomique, the food was generally good. However the service was dreadful. I have listed a few things below that were not right.
No bread in the restaurant, had to wait 10 minutes for more to arrive for the kitchen which is not handy when you have soup in front of you going cold. Had to ask several times for water. No plates provided for the cheese. Had to get knives from an adjacent table as they were not replenished as needed.
Empty plates removed when one person was still eating.
The restaurant appears to have trouble retaining quality staff and certainly is not investing in much training.
I doubt we will return......

Went for the early evening special two courses for £15 each, we was very satisfied of What was offered for the price we went starter and main. Pork escalope and beef in red wine all served with seasonal vegetables and the house lager very tasty. I haven't given five star as I thought service was a little slow even for just a beer and a salad starter. I would go back again and try some more food there.

As the title says lovely views first class food but let down by the service.
Management is not about walking around it is about helping the staff at high points in the service.
Apart from that good restaurant.

Seven of us tried to eat it Bistro Pierre this last week, but their lift was out of order every time the seven of us enquired it was still out of order. The staff had no idea when it would be mended. I asked each day to see if it was working again. Shame as they lost a lot of custom.

Bonjour,

I am every so sorry that our accessible lift has stopped working and for this I can only apologise to you. Unfortunately as this is a complex peace of machinery nobody who works here is qualified to fix such equipment.
Just for your information we have had an engineer out three times this week to try and fix the issue, yet the lift is currently still not working, unfortunately this is going to be the case for the next week also. The team and I have tried to call all our booking in the near future to make them aware of this situation, yet we offer any people who have not booked the option to have the prix fixe menu downstairs as we are aware of the current situation regarding the lift.
We hope to welcome you back in the future.
Warmest regards,
Shaun Whiting
