I was surprised with the place for the following reasons. Entrance fee was 7.50$ Canadian per person and my 3 year old no charge. It's not a huge place but they have enough for the kids to enjoy themselves. Then we ate and again another shocker 2 nice plates of shrimp with rice or fries one order of chicken fingers with fries and three drinks 28$ US. And nice portions. Overall it was money very well spent.

We have stayed in this hotel before and went by this year to eat and found it very changed. In just a few year they have created a huge parking space, a number of new buildings, gone from a pool to pool and aquatic park. The rooms were simple but clean and had all the necessities when we stayed here. The price was low then but has gone up some. Quite a lot of fun for kids in the aquatic park and you can eat fastfood poolside. There's a restaurant but it's not always open. Not to forget that staying in huacas means you can reach a number of beaches using a car (or in worst case by bus), but there's no beaches close by. The town huacas is not especially big either so to find nightlife and/or shopping youd have to go elsewhere.
