Traditional Spanish food but with a difference. They add or mix ingredients to be inventive. The meat roasted in an open oven is excellent although if you don't like your meat to taste smokey [I don't] then it is not for you. Small and friendly restaurant with seating outside. Prices very reasonable.

Being long time visitors to Yunquera we're always on the lookout for something better than the current crop of eateries.
And having been loyal devotees of this establishment in its former guise "back in the day" it was great to see the place open again.
We visited on consecutive Fridays and on both nights the place was buzzing. The service is attentive, prompt and friendly. The food doesn't disappoint either, my steak was cooked to perfection and very reasonably priced, in fact when the bill came we were all pleasantly surprised, considering what we'd had. All in all a cracking establishment, let's hope this high standard continues.
Right, mini gripe time! The gents toilet.....it's medieval.....it's just a hole! My aim isn't too bad for a geezer of my age but this needs sorting, surely.

Found it through Trip Advisor and didn't expect much from it, but as, the title says, we were very pleasantly surprised by homemade BBQed meats and local cheeses. A special mention and reccomendation goes to the *tabla de quesos* and *chuleton*. Let go of the other tapas bar and give it a go!

So pleased to discover this restaurante had reopened when we went for an impromptu walk round the village at 1.30 one night. We went straight back that night for a meal. Pluma Iberica cooked in the wood fire with wonderfull potatoes. Fantastic.

The menu has been extended and now includes tapas which will be next week's adventure. Kiddie options too.

Great music. Good atmosphere and really friendly. Everyone should try it!
