Description: Chef Sébastien Henry will reveal his approach to our regional specialities to you in our light-filled restaurant. Market produce takes pride of place in his inventive set meals with their intriguing titles – the Discovery Menu, the Food-Lover’s Menu, and the Gourmet Menu. The restaurant smoothly combines relaxation and conviviality, offering the perfect setting for get-togethers of family, colleagues or friends in an elegant, relaxed atmosphere. The Set Lunch Menu changes every day, evolving with the seasons and depending on market availability. It is in addition to the chef’s creative à la carte menu. All our dishes are "homemade" and locally developed from raw products

We had a really lovely meal here. Set price three courses. First had aperitif on the terrace overlooking he beautiful countryside. Had little nibbles. Then through to the restaurant, amuse bouche followed by lovely soup, rabbit or salmon and then a wonderful soufflé- one of the best ever tasted with bonbons as well. Fabulous friendly service. Really excellent evening.

We spent two nights and ate in the restaurant both nights. I was extremely impressed with the food and have eaten far worse food at Michelin starred establishments. The best thing however was the attitude of the staff who were all quite charming. Nothing was too much trouble and we were really made to feel welcome. I would have no hesitation returning if I was in the area again. I suppose if there was a minor criticism, people staying several nights might find the menu repetitive as it was unchanged for our second night. We however upgraded to the 80 euro gastronomic menu which had quite different dishes and was excellent. It might be an idea to change the amuse bouches alternate nights for example.

This chateau is set in a beautiful area and also close by you have another big castle to visit with a village around it at the top of the hill that apparantly is one of frances prettiest villages and it really is
But back to the chateau it is beautiful with a fantastic courtyard area and gardens/lake to sit around
The interior is lively with a superb restaurant which is almost a Michelin star type and reasonable prices .The room was lovely with a lovely view and they kindly upgraded us for free to a higher standard room .very friendly staff and we really enjoyed our stay their

Chateau Sainte Sabine has been a longtime favorite for my dear other half, and this time we visited the restaurant only, as we stayed in Chailly.
For me this is the perfect example of simple and well mastered. For lunch there was a single menu, very reasonably priced, which let the whole team to focus on making it a great experience. We had the luck to sit on the outside terrace, which is very pleasant for a sunny day, and were not disappointed.

Expensive? 60 euros per person with a nice bottle of wine + coffee.
Worth going? Sure
