In an area know for ble noir crepes there is a healthy amount if competition for the best creperie in the surrounding area ... the French side of my family has had a house in Ste Marine for decades and Le Misaine is hands down the best bet in town.
The house specialty crepes are all devine with the Ventoux being a family favourite ... and yes you MUST have desert ... whether a simple citron buerre sucre or a decadent foret noire the experience will be one to treasure... Bon appetite!

Ok the crêpes are very good with imaginative combinations (highlights for forêt noire, an amazing take on the traditional Black Forest cake, and Ventoux, with goat cheese and poitrine fumée, a form of artisanal bacon) alongside the traditional complète (egg, ham and gruyere) or andouille (chitterlings) recipes. The location and decor is also fantastic. What sets La Misaine in another league to all the other (many) crêperies I have been to however is the service: a charming, all-female squad (serving staff) who do a fabulous job of juggling with what is a seriously challenging, crazily intense job at peak lunch and dinner times. We always make multiple bookings before even arriving and cannot wait to go back ! More please...

The restaurant is small and opened sharp at 19:00hrs.

There is a good choice of galettes and they are delicious. Best of our whole trip.

Highly recommended and will certainly visit again if in the area.

We ate here twice on holiday, trying both the sweet crepes and savoury galettes. The food was just lovely, the best we had all holiday, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. They were really friendly and kind to our 2 daughters. If you can get an outside table the views over the Odet are wonderful and you can watch the little ferry passing back and fourth.
I wish we had tried the cider, next time we are the area we will plan for a longer lunch!
