Set in an traditional piemontese stone wall farmhouse, this restaurant is a perfect combination of a charming environment, great homemade food , good music (I happened to be there an evening with live jazz ) great wine (own produce) and friendliness all for a very affordable price. The food is traditional piemontese with a touch of nouvelle cuisine, nice proportions, great tastes and quality, plenty to eat. I would say it is an absolute must if you want an unforgettable evening out. When leaving don' t forget to ask for a bottle of the Scaparone wine (Nebbiolo), you will enjoy it back home and wish you were once more back at the Scaparone.

This place is located in the country side off Alba. The staff was very welcoming and attentive to all our needs. We got a four course meal that was excellent and reasonably priced. Everything is fresh and organic.

Casa Scaparone is a great place for a long evening with great local Piemontese food and wine. The tasting menu offers great value, and for 38 euro you get tons of really good food. We had some fantastic Gnocchi with blue cheese, whole wheat spaghetti with tomatoes and olives, a really unique salad of chicken meat and cooked carrots and also some really juicy roasted pork. The place has special atmosphere, with the owner / cook playing the piano and singing as you eat

Discovered by chance , even if located at 5 Km from my location, it has been a pleasant and enjoyable surprise.
The welcome was great, the meal and wine excellent, the prices at level with the offer, the service friendly.
You should not be in a hurry, but you would not be there if you were.
Definitely a place to visit, to enjoy and to appreciate.

This is basically the best meal i've had at any restaurant (michelin star resto's included). 7 courses with the freshest, most original ingredients and combinations - veal/pork pate, coq, flan, guinea fowl and more. Also the best desert wine i've tasted. All home made or from the local area. Topped off by a lovely setting and our fantastic waiter daniele. Cannot recommend highly enough.
