Stayed at this hotel as part of a shearings holiday and stayed half board. Given a lovely refurbished room on the 1st floor overlooking the sea.
Great walk-in shower with excellent water pressure.
The evening meal was dreadful no labels on the food ie the salad bar.
And the other food certainly not up to Italian standards.
The wine served with dinner very cheap and cheerful.
Very mass catering approach.
Shame nice room but everything else let a let down.
When booking take note that the season in Bellaria closes the end of August, so if visiting after be prepared for nothing to be open.

Room tip: Sea view rooms and the refurbished rooms.

I recently visited the Miramare under unusual circumstances, my mother had been staying there on holiday when she was taken seriously ill, they called an ambulance and took care of her and she was admitted to the intensive care unit. I flew out to Italy and even before arrival, Anna, the star of the show had told me the nearest airports and the best way to get to the hospital. After I had visited my mum, who was medically sedated, I went to the hotel to collect her things as her holiday party were leaving the next day, Anna ordered a taxi to collect me from the hospital, greeted me by name on arrival (I suspect I was the only homeless looking English woman!)and offered me a room for the night. The hotel itself is beautiful, what a fabulous location! When I declined dinner, Barbara the owner gave me a bowl of fruit to take to my room.i have been in Rimini for 2 weeks now at a location closer to the hospital, but Anna has been in contact regularly and helped out whenever I needed. The kindness you have shown can never be repaid and will never be forgotten. Grazia!

This hotel is included as part of a Shearings holiday to the Adriatic, including visits to San Marino, San Leo, Ravenna etc. Rooms have Balcony, TV (all Italian stations), hairdryer, Wi-Fi and mini fridge. The staff are first rate especially Anna who appears to be around all day, nothing seems to much trouble, no fruit at breakfast one morning a simply request and a bowl was delivered from the kitchen within a couple of minutes. Breakfast buffet is first rate scrambled eggs and bacon plus full continental, evening meals may not be to everybody’s taste but are adequate, salad bar, pasta/soup course plus main, there is always fresh fruit to finish plus occasional ice-cream/cake deserts.
There are no tea/coffee facilities in bedrooms so for those who like an early morning drink suggest you take a travel kettle. For your information unlike many parts of Italy the summer season finishes end August so traveling in September you can expect the majority of the beachside cafes and shops to be closed.

Visited in early September as part of a Shearings tour. the weather perfect for both beach and touring and the hotel perfectly located. Hotel Miramare is a first class hotel in every way. We were fortunate to have a front sea view room (204) which was modern and spacious, excellent bathroom/shower etc. and a small balcony to sit out on. Food was exceptional. Help yourself salad/starter table with a good choice of cold food. Pasta dish to follow then a meat or fish main and a dessert to follow. Complimentary wine and water also. Choose your meal for the following day each evening from the menu. This meant quick and efficient service by very pleasant staff. In fact all the staff from the top down were excellent. The Hotel is close to the beach, ideal for those who like to take the sun or swim in the very calm warm sea. There is a small pool which did not seem to be used, other than to sit around. The town of Bellaria is a short walk from the Hotel, with good shopping. The town comes to life at night with some pleasant bar's etc. The various trips to San Marino and the Romangna towns were very enjoyable, made even more so by Ian and Julia both very friendly and knowledgeable guides (they are more than just drivers). There is quite a bit of walking involved on the various day trips so not good for anyone with walking difficulties. Overall a very enjoyable holiday, most definitely four star in ever way.

Room tip: Sea view rooms are lovely, especially those on the front.
