Stayed just two nights here, very happy with our stay. This is a lovely hotel, we were allocated a very spacious double room with a huge balcony and nice bathroom, all spotlessly clean. Breakfast is excellent too and good secure parking in the hotel grounds. The owners are lovely, they were very helpful in telling us about Bordighera and various restaurants. We have had a really lovely, relaxing break here.

We stayed here in early September. It is a very nice hotel just a block from the main street and only a couple blocks from the beach. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. Our check in was quick and they had someone help me with our bags. The room was nice sized and well laid out.

It was late so we ate dinner at the hotel's restaurant. It is family run as is the hotel I believe. The service was excellent and the food was good. We also had the breakfast there the next morning and it was also tasty.

The service that was above and beyond occurred the next morning. We had a rental car that would not start. We had a diesel car the needed BLU. Never having had a diesel I did not know what BLU was so I asked the man at the front desk for help. He was not familiar with it either. He called Eurocrat for me and it was going to be several hours before they could get help to me. But he read the owners manual which in Italian. He figured out what we needed. He walked me to two gas stations to find and purchase some BLU. It is a additive for diesel exhaust. Who knew? Now I do. He helped me put it in the car and got it started. He saved us a half day easily. This is the kind of service this hotel provides. They truly care about their guests and I would recommend them to anyone!

The hotel is located very close to all points of interest in Bordighera. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Personnel very nice and customer oriented. Very good breakfast with home made cakes. There is also a nice garden where it's possible to practice some exercises in the morning or just seat and relax after dinner. Definitely to recommend for a pleasant stay.

If you are heading to the regions on either side of the Italian/French Mediterranean border a base in Bordighera is well worth considering. Right on the train line you can get to the Italian Riviera and the Cote D'Azure very easily. We stayed here for a week and covered an area from Antibes to Sanremo by train and bus comfortably on various days. The town of Bordighera is a charming seaside village and worth a stopover on its own.
Hotel Gold is just that, a gem, clean comfortable rooms, good food and wonderful hosts, Rosa and Nicollo. If you are driving there is on site parking. There is also a lovely garden where you can eat, drink or just chill out.All the town's services and facilities are within an easy walk.
We would certainly stay here again. Good value for money.
