Beautiful hotel right on and with access to the lake for swimming, immaculate room and excellent pool area. Breakfast was the best we have had in Italy.

Restaurant also very good with fantastic steak, but it is a little quiet/lacking atmosphere. Great service and recommendations from Luca and Salume.

Only downside is that there is not much to do of an evening and alternative restaurants are a 20/25 min walk or short car ride away.

A superb hotel...! The location right on the lake was absolutely perfect for our mini-moon. We spent two nights here and could've easily spent a week. The service from the staff was excellent-recommended us places to visit and the local pizzeria is a must visit! The pool was quiet and the bar snacks were delicious. With the hotel being right in the lake it had its own jetty to swim in the lake!

We will definitely be staying here again-amazing!

One of the best hotels in Italy I have stayed at. A perfect combination of boutique with luxury. The room is well appointed and the pool area is stunning. All staff really helpful with restaurant bookings, drinks at the bar etc. The breakfast is a decent spread, typical Italian style cold buffet with eggs to order. They also have sparkling wine at breakfast! The views are to die for. The area has some of the best restaurants and is much nicer than the touristy towns nearby like Salo.

The only issue we had was the temperature in the room, it has to be controlled by reception....and it got very hot in our room in May. We realised on the last night that the curtains were covering the main A/C vent....but still we just never go the room cool enough. Something they could look at improving.

My husband and I kicked off our honeymoon with 4 nights in Bella Riva. It was the perfect place to stay in Gardone riviera - right on the lake (with views out and across the lake from the two balconies in our room), far enough away from the road that it was quiet, close enough to town to be walkable. We hired a car but found it was also easy to walk around the towns close by. The hotel itself was exceptional. Every room would have had a great view, we had a balcony room and it felt as if we could've dived straight into the lake from our balcony! Breakfast every morning was lovely. Staff were so so friendly. The restaurant was faultless, particularly their chips and steak - to die for!! All in all the most fantastic and luxurious place we have ever stayed. We would love to come back one day! Honestly the whole place is magical and I am struggling to put into words how amazing it is. The pool is also pretty perfect. With all this perfection though it is not a stuffy place and felt very relaxed, with some children staying as well as groups and couples. We will be saving to come back here for an anniversary for sure!
