The location of Marina suites is a bit outside the city centre, as the name tells you, in a small marina, next to the golf course. The building is lovely, very nice decorated. We stayed in a studio, with perfect sea wiev, very nice furnished, very spacious...

We maneged to lock ourselves outside the room after the reception hours, and we call the guy and he solved our "problem" in 5 minutes.

It was really nice plase, would love to stay there again, especially in better weather, since we had a really heavy fog!!!

The hotel is very good choice if you like to feel calm and privat. Breakfast is served in continental style , every day the orange juice, youghurt, croissants and sandwiches. I had no problem to eat the same every day, I likes this choice. The important thing was good coffee, you can choose presso, latte, cappucino , what doyou like. The room was very big and clean, but we got the one without terrace. The historical town Grado was far, but we decided to reach it on foot. It was very long but nice walk. We only stopped for one beer during our way.

Room Tip: With the terrace.

Dear guest,
Thank you for your comments.
I'm glad that you have highlighted our peaceful location and that you enjoyed your breakfast. I am pleased that you enjoyed your stay with us and found us to be good value, clean and comfortable. Next time I suggest you to book a bigger accommodation – studio or apartment – that have a large terrace.
Grado is a truly charming historic town , definitely worth the long walk, but next time you can choose to reach it by bike through the cycling path or by bus.
We hope to see you again soon at Marina Suites.

Having arrived at Marina Suites Hotel we found ourselves in a huge campground with shocking loud disco music at night . Happy enough we arrived early enough to Check in at the Main Gate of the Campground . This hotel provides no reception service at night and all gates get closed at night !
Three gates on the way to the hotel give you a safe feeling, but right behind the hotel there is a gate which always remains open ...
As a hotel guest you often do not find parking in front of the hotel . Signs indicate that parking is reserved to hotel residents , but no one seems to care .
Staff was brilliant , rooms clean , equipped with Ikea - furniture, you like cheap Ikea style or you don´t . Anyway, we desperately missed a fridge . A minibar should be standard for that price !
Yachting harbour is right in front.
You get breakfast in a small , crowded bar on the ground level of the hotel . The staff there seemed to be very stressed as they also have to serve rather noisy clients who drop in from the campground , the yachting harbour, a nearby golf course , workers and other guests from outside . Would have been a better idea to separate the hotel clients for breakfast from other clients . Breakfast is served to the table and Continental style , including tiny sandwiches . We would have preferred buffet style breakfast in a hotel .
Probably due to bad weather beach service was not existent , beach and water were heavily polluted with garbage and sewage sludge .
Anyway you can´t blame the hotel for the bad water quality of Northern Adriatic sea...
The location of the hotel is very remote to get to Grado Downtown . Recommend to arrive by car or taxi .
Grado is rather pricey and so is the hotel , which seems more to be an aparthotel than a common hotel .
