My fiancé and I spent a week at Hotel Maribel, my third time. Again fabulous - nothing has changed over years. Upon arrival, after driving from MXP, we just drove to the front of the hotel, checked in, they showed us around, took us to the room, parked the car, unloaded the car, placed skiing gear in our locker, took rest of luggage to our room. Rooms are clean, functional and comfortable. Half board: after antipasti, many options for primi piatti, many options for secondi piatti, and many for desserts - always a match. Good value wine list of local and other regions’ wines. Nice breakfast. Complimentary “mind-reading” shuttle service to any ski lift and back, return is just a phone call and 0 ... 10 mins away. Don’t shy away only because the hotel is not right next to a ski lift. Spa with showers, Finnish sauna (excellent for us Finns!), Turkish/steam sauna, and infrared sauna, small pool, foot bath, spa lounge with chamomile tea and dried fruits. Massages available and tried too. If there is anything that is not just 100% perfect, it is the WiFi: in the late afternoons and evenings it tends to run out of bandwidth and connectivity (number of IP addresses?). Our three mobile devices connected but laptops typically did not.

Oh my lordy, these chaps cannot do enough to help, they are a 5* service and beyond. So charming and warm. The hotel is not in the centre but a seamless transfer operates most of the day and is very very frequent. Andrea is the most helpful and kind manager and his staff utterly charming. Great spa (really really good considering 4*!!) and of course wonderful food. There were 4 families travelling in our group, all of different sizes so we all had different rooms but all were ample sized, clean and soundproof! Comfy beds, great showers, nice views out onto the mountains. Ski locker area can get a bit busy at rush hour but that really is my only very slight niggle. Andrea sorted our ski hire and helped out when we had an issue with the ski school. My recommendation would be to speak to the hotel before booking anything in the resort - they know everyone and everyone knows them and being Italy? that counts for a lot. Idiosyncratic waiting staff who amused our group of 9-17 year olds extremely well. Cant fault the place at all and will return as soon as I can. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Room tip: back of the hotel overlooks the mountains

We had a junior suite for a week with HB. Best choice for a weeks skiing holiday. Everyone so helpful and friendly, right from parking the car in their underground parking area on arrival and unloading everything for us. We were there for Siberian Bear cold front, with -20C at night, so the car parked underground was optimal, and the room so so warm and comfy. Their shuttle bus always seemed to arrive just when you wanted it. Excellent restaurant, with the best food we have ever been offered anywhere. Looking forward to our next stay there.

We stayed in hotel for skiing week.
Check-in: Hotel provided excellent service - they unpacked all skis, boots, etc. to skiing room for us - very appreciated
Service: daily ad-hoc shuttle to/from slopes included - very good
Rooms: We had wellness room: clean, large, comfortable. Only sauna in room was not able to reach more than ~75 Celsius - this could be improved. Otherwise room very good.
Wellness center: easily compares to 5 star hotels - very good
Staff: Very friendly and helpful. Only the guy serving afternoon snack could be quicker - this could be improved. Otherwise staff very good.
Food: we enjoyed it, we had a half board.

Overall experience is very positive, I would go to the hotel again and recommend it to others

We spent a week around Christmas, Dec 2017, in Maribel. A great experience. The hotel was well above average standards, nicely decorated and such a cozy feeling.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The buttler and waitress in restaurant were not only kind but considering well our wishes and making sure we got a great service every single day. We enjoyed a dinner every night at the hotel as the selection and tastes were so delicious. I highly recommend the chef and his menus.

Spa is also high quality with its’ own specialities; pool, 3 different saunas, etc. and a worth of mentioning a nice spa menu to enjoy.

We also got a special services by the hotel owner fixing the racing skis and new boots to my son. There was not a single ”troublesome” moment in the whole week. All worked very smoothly and friendly.

One of the greatest vacation week we’ve ever had. I’m looking forward visiting back in Maribel. In the meantime I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who apprecites the friendly, high quality service in a nice environment.
