I booked an apartment after seeing many beautiful pictures on booking.com
It was about a deluxe suite with sea view. Quite expensive.
When we arrived we found with stoupa that our apartment was located in an ugly building about 300 m behind the villa. Ugly with a horrible and dirty yard and on the ground floor lived workers who started noisy work early in the morning (6!). Being far away from villa we didn't have access to the swimming-pool, jacuzzi, garden or terraces.
I told to the owner I did not get what I paid for and he said that he gave me more than I need it (toilet paper, towels etc) because he is very generous.
To prove my comment I attach some pictures.

We enjoyed several days at Neranya, a quiet and beautiful setting. It is a bit bit hard to get to get to, but to us that is part of the charm.

Management was very kind and helpful to jetlagged visitors.

We used it as a base to explore the Amalfi coast, Pompeii and Ercolano.

The accommodations are adequate and nothing was wanting, but neither are they luxurious. No restaurant but lots of good options nearby.

The view was absolutely spectacular and the setting perfect. We quite enjoyed our stay.

What a delightful stay we had at Neranya in October. Best parts: sitting on the terrace looking westward to the incredible views of the end of the Sorrentina peninsula, including the Saracen watchtower and the Chiesa di San Costanza; walking down to the little town of Arenaccia to buy fresh pastries from the local croissant factory, cheese from the local cheese-maker who serves all the area restaurants, and the groceries and fresh produce we used to cook up some wonderful dinners (with recipes supplied by the grocery store owner and her daughter!); and last but not least a molto simpatico host, Antonello, who made sure we had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and homey, but who was never intrusive. The apartment itself is perfectly appointed, with everything you need. My husband had broken his leg earlier in the trip and so couldn’t get out to do the hiking we had come for (though he could and did enjoy the terrace). We will be coming back to Neranya soon to do those hikes and to enjoy again Antonello’s warm hospitality.

The first contact with the host from home was quick, easy, very informative and nice.

After arriving the first we noticed was the beautiful view that almost seemed unreal in the evening. The rooms were nice and clean. We rented two appartments both with a balcony and enough space inside to linger around. Still, almost all the time we were outside. If you go to Neranya don't plan out all your days in advance, you might just want to stay on the balcony for a day or two, relax and enjoy the view while chatting or reading a book. The end of September was still warm enough to sit outside. It had a slight breeze and the evenings got a bit chilly but with a poncho or a thin jacket we could still have our wine outside.

Antonello welcomed us and took a lot of care to let us understand the area, the surroundings and the appartments. He recommended places to eat, swim, hike, things to do and answered all our questions. He really did a great job. The perfect host: subtle in the background but there when you need him with all he can do for you.

We were more than happy there and I am pretty sure that we will come back. In any case, Neranya is highly recommendable! :)

Room tip: not all the double rooms have a double bed. for example the triple room in one of the appartments has a loft bed and a single bed.

Tastefully done up property..overlooking the water on a cliff. Great for families! stunning views! We stayed in a 3 BR and it was excellent with our own private patio overlooking the water. it is between Sorrento and amalfi. Good location if you ok to see everything by car
Due to coastal area and wilderness there are insects and ants in the patio (as one would expect)
the host is good...just beware of any additional charges and understand them prior to signing up.
