We chose the Hotel Villa Costanza as a base near Venice by checking other reviews and have not been disappointed. The location is less than 10 minutes from the Mestre rail station and 3 minutes from the nearest bus stop. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The room is large, modern and clean. We purchased a bus/water bus pass at the hotel and have been able to use it to go into Venice and to visit the stunning islands of Murano and Burano. We have chosen to have coffee and brioche for breakfast at the bar which has been a true bargain at €4. We would definitely come and stay again.

We spent our first night in the Venice area at this hotel recovering from Jet lag. It was very comfortable and clean. The staff was very kind and helpful. The price was about 50% of a hotel in Venice which is only 12 minutes away by bus or train. This would be an excellent hotel to use if you are visiting Venice on a budget or if you don't care to wrestle your luggage through the streets of Venice. There is bus service from the Marco Polo Airport to the near-by Mestre Train Station. Breakfast was quite good, but not included in the room rate.

I've stayed 3 nights at this hotel and it felt like home. Very quiet location with nice and spacious rooms, the bathroom looked great and it was very clean. The sheets were changed everyday. The breakfast was delicious and varied. The receptionists were very kind and gave me infos about everything i asked. If i will ever come to venice i will definitely come back to this hotel.

Stayed at this hotel in September for five nights when visiting Venice. I can't say enough good things about it. The rooms are excellent recently refurbished and worthy of a 4+ star rating. Beds good, clean linen every night. Bathroom top rate. Staff really helpful and customer orientated. The continental breakfast was really good if a little expensive. It's a 10 minute walk to the train station with frequent trains to venice. €1.25 fare and 10 minutes later you arrive at Venice, go out of the station and you are on the grand canal. Wonderful! It's just as easy by bus. There are also a couple of very good restaurants near nearby and the reception at the hotel are more than happy to guide you and make reservations. I will recommend this hotel to anyone. Good tip ring hotel direct to make booking. Better deal than going through any of the websites..
