I can't say enough about this Tuscan home. It was the perfect place to stay if you want to visit the hill towns of Tuscany. The bedrooms were outfitted perfectly as was the rest of the home. The owner and his family live on site which makes it very easy to get help with the home if you need it. They also give travel recommendations while you are staying there. I also thought the price was very reasonable for the home. The location was also perfect. It is near Montepulciano which is central to Tuscany. Go there, you'll love it.

We enjoyed a very relaxing week at “La Casina” with two other couples in July 2016. The villa is very spacious, well appointed and comfortable, and the kitchen is well equipped. La Casina has a commanding view of the surrounding vineyards and olive groves with views over to the hilltop towns of Montepulciano and Montefollonico, which are only minutes away by car.

Adrian and his family were delightful and their hospitality was gracious. Adrian met us on arrival, gave us a tour of the villa and provided a welcome package of foodstuffs and wine. In addition to sending us a Welcome Pack before our arrival – with details of the house, directions, restaurants and local attractions, both Adrian and his wife Gill readily answered our many questions and provided us with other ideas for activities or areas to visit during our stay. One evening Adrian and his family hosted us for a pizza night on the patio, (all cooked in his wood burning pizza oven) and on another occasion, presented us with a freshly baked lemon cake!

The three couples would usually have breakfast on the patio and then explore one or more neighbouring hilltop towns or vineyards during the late morning/early afternoon. In the late afternoon, would return to La Casina and enjoy a swim in the pool and/or a glass or two of wine. Our dinners were usually either at a restaurant in Montepulciano or “at home” on the patio with the BBQ, savouring more local wine!

We really enjoyed our week at this villa and were most impressed with the hospitality that was provided to us by Adrian and Gill. La Casina is highly recommended.

Was everything we had hoped for and more. The property is first class accommodations with plenty of room and modern appliances. Only a 5 minute drive to Montepulciano. Stunning views at every turn. Great value. We will return.

Was as good as in the photos. Adrian, the owner is helpful and even baked us a delicious Lemon Drizzle cake for which he gave us the recipe!
Beautiful vistas from the villa, we had 2 BBQs as weather was lovely. '
Nice hamper with Vino Nobile di Montepulciano wine when we arrived
Nice and quiet -- all you hear are the sheep bells.
A suggestion (not a criticism) -- some English language cahnnels on the TV would be welcome

A friend rented this lovely Tuscan home for 2 weeks in April. She invited friends to go with her, and are we lucky to be friends! This is a marvelous location, your view of Montepulciano is just outside the door. The house is large, comfortable, a great kitchen, even an outdoor pizza oven we used a couple of times! Adrian and his family made us feel right at home..if we needed anything, or asked for recommendations, he was really helpful. It's a bit tricky to find the house the first time, but it's so well worth it. I miss waking up and looking out at the beautiful view or wondering where the sheep are in the pasture. We look forward to returning!
