We visited Sardinia at the off season, was just a a perfect time! We got upgraded room for 2 with an amazing view to the landscape and the swimming pool! The breakfast was really nice as well and the staff was super helpful! They took their time to show us the most beautiful pleases on the map! It was a wonderful experience!

We've just returned from a trip to Sardinia during which time, we had a 5 night stay in Relais De la Costa. The hotel is centrally located in Porto Cervo and is going through a process of renovation which is somewhat of an inconvenience but will eventually provide a modern and contemporary hotel once completed. We were somewhat disappointed with our room, so upon arrival we upgraded to a suite which was spacious and modern. The management were friendly and helpful, particularly Chiara and Roberto who were extremely helpful and attended to all of our needs. Not much of a bar and swimming pool is small and shallow and unfortunately no restaurant, but on the whole a good option if you'd like to stay in the centre of Porto Cervo.

Room tip: Choose a high spec room, the lower spec rooms are a dissapointment

Stayed for a week 7th - 14th September with good first impression, staff at reception were very welcoming & the hotel has recently been renovated, public areas very pretty with a coastal theme. We booked a comfort room with terrace, both the room & bathroom were very small with no drawer space, no safe & no tea / coffee making facilities. We requested a safe but didn't get one. The air con unit had been put under a window with long curtains so you either had to leave the curtains open at night or have a very warm room. Breakfast was good & the location excellent but for us the biggest disappointment was the swimming pool, you can't swim in it because it so cold & only 30 inches deep! There is still work to be done with the addition if a lift & restaurant next year & if the do something about the pool in the future it will be very nice. We wouldn't return, not because of the hotel but Porto Cervo was built for millionaires and is madly expensive.

Room tip: Not suitable for people with disabilities lots of steps.

We arrived in Porto Cervo by bus and the hotel was only a 2min walk from the bus stop and right next to the centre of Porto Cervo so very handy for those who can affors to shop and eat in tbe centre!

We stayed in a standard double room. It was very basic, only 1 half size mirror in the bathroom which was annoying for getting ready, a lack of draws for storage and no kettle. The shower wasn't in a good state and as there is no main light on the ceiling, only wall lights it can get quite dark in the evenings but the balcony was a good size.

Breakfast was nice, a few cereal options, crossiants and some eggs and bacon but if you went to breakfast late on the eggs and bacon was often all gone.

We were looking forward to using the swimming pool but it was a very green colour, it didnt look very inviting so we didnt go in, we didn't see anyone in the pool.

We stayed 4 nights at this newly renovated boutique hotel. Great suite for €550pn with breakfast and free parking. Both girls in reception Chiara & Sophia were very polite and helpful always with a smile in their face.

Chiara is very helpful with tips on restaurants she knows the area very well and will find the perfect solution for you , she will book and make reservations as well. The breakfast was nice and the common area and reception is very tastefully done great interiors. The hotel is very central perfect location and if you have a car you can see all Costa Smeralda and have the hotel as a base.

Great value for money comparing to the Porto Cervo prices ! The cleaning is excellent and great linen.

We will definitely stay there again in the future and hope to see Chiara again xx
