Starting with the good points. The views are really lovely and the grounds of the hotel are very relaxing, however ....There are too many bad points. Firstly the location. Unless you have a car you are stuck, there is very little to do at the hotel apart from the pool & they make no effort to provide any other entertainment. A shuttle bus goes to Port Cervo at 10am & 5pm it is less than 3km but a taxi back will cost you 25euro each time! The food at the hotel is moderate & expensive, breakfast is poor, the same tired stuff everyday, no chef to cook an omelette or anything like that. Very basic. The rooms are adequate, no more than that. It is a short walk to the beach which is not very nice & a sunbed there will cost you 35 euro! The only entertainment in the evening is the same singer every night which gets repetitive, and drinks are way overpriced. All in all there is just a lack of effort and customers are taken for granted. Disappointing hotel & too remote.

Lovely hotel hotel with pool and a beach. Breakfast covers all needs including gluten free. Staff were always helpful and polite. Our favourite lunch spot was the hotel bar by the beach, watching all the yachts and world go by. Nearest shops about 1 mile away, apart from hotel restaurant, nearest restaurant half a mile. Porto cervo is a 20 min walk and is full of top designer shops. Great if you want a quiet get away from it all location.

Room Tip: Most rooms have a sea view but if not then a garden view which was still lovely

Really great, querky, sweet hotel. Right in the middle of Porto Cervo. Only a short walk away from the harbour with some bars and restaurants, as well as little boutiques. Porto Cervo is a small town so a 5 minute taxi ride to other restaurants to keep the cost down is about €20 each way! Something to bare in mind. The hotel staff are lovely, especially at breakfast. The breakfast isn't great, lack of selection and slow service, but the staffs attitude always helps in these situations. The hotel claims they have their own private beach...what an awful beach!! Full of stones, uncomfortable and totally pointless. Lots of other beautiful beaches around for you to visit, do not waste your time with this beach! Over all we had a great week and would certainly recommend this hotel.

First the best bits, The staff , they are mainly young, very friendly, easy going and helpful and most speak good English, everyone including the gardener, cleaners and reception staff always had a smile and hello, never saw a miserable face , the management is very discreet and must hide away in the background somewhere.
The breakfast buffet is second to none , you name it they have it almost, help yourself as much as you want and available from 7.00 to 10.30 ish.
The restaurant in the evening does a set menu which is worth looking at , not stupidly pricey for this area. or walk down to the Hivoa or Clipper restaurants . Otherwise walk to the harbour get the free ferry over to town and find somewhere there.
The Hotel has just about everything on site , Gym , Great Pool , Sauna , Hairdressers, , loads of sun beds and seating for taking a drink in the shade ,
The beach is great for swimming from , clean sand and sea but Dick Turpin is alive and running the beach umbrellas and beds here , prices seem to vary day by day and where in the line they are but always seem to go up . 30 - 50 euros per day for 2 beds and an umbrella. Take your towels and sit on the sand to save a some cash.
Now for the rooms , our standard garden room was very disappointing , think Premier Inn size with old furniture, noisy plumbing from surrounding rooms ( who wants to wake up with the sound of someone peeing on your head ) and a terrible bed , in fact 2 singles pushed together to make a double and Lenny Henry has never slept here , he wouldn't be able to. This is 2 star accommodation . If you want better you have to upgrade as I'm told some rooms are very nice.
In summary a great hotel , let down by some poor rooms but saved by having lovely staff , good facilities and a location which is within a comfortable walk ( for the average person ) of Porto Cervo

Room Tip: Do not choose a garden room . Pay through the nose and get a higher sea view room
