Stunning Views ,Great Accommodations and The most Wonderful Host's
Villa Punta del Sole is the best place to stay in Positano , My Family (9 in total)all stayed here for a Wedding in September ,
Plenty of private room for all with two complete separate units away from the main 4 bed room unit. All have private kitchens and toiletries With a pool and spa tub, pool table and even Beer Taps for those who want to order a keg of refreshments.
The View is stunning , The Host (Vito and family) are as welcoming as your Family and good Friends who you haven't seen in years . In walking distance to decent food wagons if you don't want to cook , 20- 30 min Walk (all down stairs) to Positano centre , You may want to take a cab back since its all up hill Cab rides ranged from 25-50 Euros depending on the driver you should as a rule check how much before you enter the cab in Italy . The Hosts are accommodating with local information on to where to eat and where buy groceries etc , Some of the local merchants say they will deliver though we never took them up on the offer. We hired a Private boat which Vitos brother help us out with Its true when they say the best way to see the Amalfi Coast is by water
If you do stay here I highly Recommend arranging the Pizza party at the Villa , There is so much food and wine (home made) and other beverages they prepare , If you want they will let you and encourgh you to make your own pizza .

We can’t say enough great things about our new friends at Villa Punta del Sole. Seriously a feeling of family, great food and very accommodating. Everything you need to live the life style. Don’t expect the Ritz, this is a down to earth vacation adventure. Be prepared to walk and use a lot of stairs, but that is all over the Amalfi Coast. But there are taxis, and many of the local stores deliver, wine and beer included. Very peaceful at night, a few hiking trails, a/c and a nice little pool. Love love love this place.

Vito was an excellent host. He gave us all the details of the local area and the best places to eat. We went to 2 restaurants recommended by him and both were excellent. On arrival he drove one of our party to the supermarket on his moped to sort out Food.

The villa itself is in a lovely location - the views are incredible. The whole place had everything we needed. The mother was so great with the baby and helped make up his cot with us. The pool was clean, kitchens fully equipped and a cleaner came in once in the week.

The little extras were so special such as giving us a bottle of wine that had been made from the grapes at the villa.

Although hilly, the walk into positano was manageable and Vito helped arrange taxis which were cheaper than ones we had booked ourselves.

With such a big group of us, 11 in total, we thought we may not have space but there was plenty of room and loads of little cute places to read your book and have a coffee.

Positano is a beautiful place and we will always remember this holiday as it is where our friend got married.

All of us give a massive thanks to the family for welcoming us!
