An absolutely wonderful stay! I can’t say enough about Hotel Poseidon. The view is gorgeous, the hotel is beautiful and clean, the staff was amazing and the food was delicious. I couldn’t believe the elaborate breakfast they had for us. We’re still talking about it!
They exceeded my expectations. We didn’t want to leave. Hotel Poseidon will be the reason we return to Positano.

The hotel is wonderful. We opted for a Deluxe Junior Suite and we had an amazing balcony with unbeatable views. We shared the room with our adult daughter and it was very comfortable. The staff would come each evening and open up the sofa bed and close it during the day. Our room, the bathroom and the balcony were all spacious and well appointed. We spent a lot of time at the pool and the pool staff were attentive. What was really nice was getting to know some of the other hotel guests at the pool, the pool is conducive to conversation. Breakfast was top notch, they had everything you could imagine or desire. The lobby was recently remodeled and was gorgeous. We had a drink at the pool and then dinner at the hotel restaurant on our last night and it was the perfect ending to our stay.

We had a wonderful first visit to Positano and we are already looking forward to returning. Our stay at Hotel Poseidon was absolutely incredible. The hotel itself is stunningly beautiful, and our room and balcony were perfect. However, what really made our stay special was the amazing staff and the outstanding level of service, particularly Lorenzo who was exceptional. We enjoyed starting our mornings with breakfast on the terrace, taking a mid-afternoon break by the pool, and ending our evenings with a drink and music while overlooking Positano. It really doesn't get any better than that!

amazing hotel. from the booking portion they responded to my emails promptly and courteously and gave me the perfect advice as to the room to get. Arriving at the hotel its perfect Itbrings you back to a day gone by. personalized service and greetings from all the staff. i defy you to find rooms with better views of positano. its a postcard. rooms are spacious and clean. and some reviews say Dated this hotel kept traditions. you feel like you were here when it first began in positano. there is pride in all the staff. they are truely happy that you are staying witn them. traditional but with every amenity. To add to the vibe. the hotel has the best restaurant in positano IL TRIIDENTE. AMAZING views food and staff special call out to ALFREDO. IVAN LORENZO ALEXANDER. They are amazing staff at Il Tridente dont miss it. You wont regret it it. My wife has dietary concerns(gluten dairy and soy allergies the chef made up the best gluten free bread and lemon cake. The simple fact that I'm writing this review after our 13th (thirteenth) visit to the wonderful Hotel Poseidon says it all. We (clearly) absolutely love it and of course will be returning. Our last visit 2 yrs ago was for my 50th with 4 other couples, some of whom had never been to Positano. We all had such a great time we had to repeat the trip last month. The entire staff (many of whom we've known for years) are so friendly and will always bend over backwards to ensure we book the right restaurants and enjoy La Dolce Vita of the Amalfi Coast to the max. Are there any locations better positioned in Positano to have breakfast or a pre dinner cocktail on that terrace overlooking the glimmering sea and stunning Positano below? Not many. Thanks again Margherita and team for treating us so well. You make us feel like part of the family. Grazie mille 10/10!
