My family just got home from a several night stay at Villa Gabrisa. I cannot speak highly enough of the hotel and the staff. The rooms were lovely, the views spectacular, and the breakfast and restaurant were terrific. I particularly want to note the hospitality and warmth of Giada. She is lovely. Highly recommend this amazing hotel.

What a charming hotel! We loved our stay. The hotel is very small and quiet, which we enjoyed. We had an attic room which was very small, but sufficient. The room itself could use some help updates to the decor and bedding, but it was clean and comfortable. The balcony views were stunning! Our room was also a great value for the time of year. The hotel is about a 15 minute walk to the town square and 20 minutes to the beach with a lot of stairs, but that’s to be expected of any hotel in Positano.
Also, you MUST eat at the hotel restaurant Da Gabriela as it was our best meal during our entire trip to Italy. The service, ambience, and food were stellar. Breakfast was also included with our room and it was perfect each morning. The front desk staff was very helpful and thorough. Highly recommend this hotel!

We have been coming to this hotel for many years, it’s a family run more intimate hotel that is just perfect. The website really doesn’t do it justice, yes it’s higher up the town but with the most incredible views. There is a range of rooms to suite all, we always stay in the Junior suite with its huge balcony and new to this year hot tub. It has the most amazing restaurant, beautiful bar area and fantastic team. We are blessed as in we now know the family and hotel team really well but even so they are so lovely and helpful to all not just those they know. I highly recommended this beautiful hotel.
Thank you to everyone we miss you

The room was spacious and very clean (we got a recently renewed room, and all the amenities were great). The views are BREATHTAKING. The breakfast is great. The staff is welcoming, helpful, and very nice. The only minor thing is that we could not use the bathtub (it took too long to fill; after 30 mins, we “surrendered”). We would also recommend being careful if you have a food allergy; the staff at the restaurant was not very experienced.

Best hotel stay ever!! We stayed in the Junior Suite with a HUGE balcony and small jacuzzi/plunge pool and outdoor shower! The view is absolutely beautiful!! The furnishings and decor are clean and modern, especially the beautiful modern tiled bathroom with double rain shower heads. Yet the room still has Italian charm, such as the shutters, arched doorways, olive plant and furnishings. Large closet space with minibar and refrigerator, espresso machine, ironing board, safe, beach towels. In the USA a room this nice with such a huge balcony and gorgeous view would cost a lot more! The room and view are outstanding, but what really sets this apart is the service! Claudia was so kind and responsive to all of our needs, from arranging transfers, rescheduling due to Covid, and giving us recommendations on our walk. Jada was also very welcoming and friendly to us. Also, one of the owners, Gabriel, sat with us at the Tulip bar and chatted for an hour! This kind of service is remarkable and unlike anything we have experienced before. It felt like we were staying with friends! The restaurant is delicious with great service and views also! Try the Caprese Salad, Zucchini Flowers, and Sea Bass. Also the free breakfast was great, we had Cappuccino, Espresso, fruit salad, Yogurt, Scrambled Eggs and Croissants! I highly recommend staying at this hotel! Get the Junior Suite, you will love it! One thing to know is that the location is a little far from the beach area, which we actually liked because it wasn’t in the middle of the congested tourist area, however it does mean a long walk with lots of stairs. If you have mobility issues you might have difficulty. Villa Gabrisa owns a wine shop next door which is really nice and convenient. We loved every minute of our stay and hope to visit again!! :) Thank you Claudia, Jada and Gabriel for everything!

Room tip: Make reservations for transfers, restaurant, etc in advance. Be prepared to walk and do a lot of stairs. Comfortable shoes are a must.
