This hotel is breathtaking and the views are spectacular. The staff are kind and attentive. The rooms are stunning with private outdoor space. The breakfast is so good, a true highlight. They also give a good night gift every night - what a sweet touch.

Staying in Positano as our headquarters for traveling around the Amalfi Coast, was perfect. Hotel Montemare is a great location - not too low to the coast where it's crowded, but not too high up where you're far away from everything.

Wonderful Experience - the service was incredible and amenities are all you expect. Yes, it’s expensive, but so worth it. We enjoyed the breakfast every mornin and cocktail hour every evening before dinner. Highly recommend! Great location in the heart of Positano.

We stayed here for 4 nights in an ocean view room. The room was very clean and had everything we could ask for. The view was absolutely amazing over the coast line with a small balcony to enjoy it. Breakfast each day was lovely with great coffee! So much to choose from & enjoyed from the terrace. The position was perfect, easy access to the beach, cafes and restaurants. The staff were all lovely & very helpful. A great family run hotel. We would definitely stay here again.
