This is a solid hotel a bit removed from the busiest areas of Positano (which was a plus in my mind). It’s high up from the water (bit of a hike with luggage in tow). Staff is very nice and there 24/7 for anything you need. Rooms were somewhat spartan and the bed was quite firm like sleeping on a rock, which may be a plus for some people? Our shower also drained incredibly slowly to the point where I thought it was clogged, but was told this is just due to the plumbing of the building. Not a huge deal but after a sandy day at the beach you might want a long hot shower. Breakfast was really good and delivered in the room where we had a balcony with a great view. Although I felt it was a bit expensive, for a 3 star hotel I think it was above average, and I can’t fault them for the price given the entire village was sold out when we were there.More

Excellent hotel

Perfect hotel. Staff are fantastic. Beautiful view of the ocean. Clean rooms. Beautiful decorations. The balcony is overlooking the ocean. Their breakfast is made to order and is absolutely deiicious. Hotel staff are very friendly and caring.

Beautiful stay!

Beautiful hotel in beautiful Positano! The view from our balcony was incredible & breakfast served on there was lovely. The room was very large & cleaned daily. The water in the shower was cold but it was summer so that was OK. Had lovely slippers to wear after a shower & towels for the beach. Really enjoyed our stay here and would happily stay here again. Maria organised our transport from Sorrento to the hotel and to the Path of the gods & our transport to Caserta. Great stay all round!! :)

Highly recommend!

Absolutely lovely staff who offered friendly and helpful service for first timers visiting Positano!

Perfectly located in the centre of Positano and only a short walk to the beach!

The cleaning service was flawless. They definitely go above and beyond!

Fantastic Stay!

We loved this hotel. Very cozy and very nicely maintained. Maria and her brother were fantastic hosts. Truly felt like family! We had a great room on the 1st floor with a view of the sea and gorgeous hillside. It’s in the center so right next to the shopping and only 10 min to beach. Maria brought breakfast to our room every morning and it was delicious. It was a wonderful stay….we can’t wait to come back! Positano is a very special place and these people at Hotel Royal Prisco made it extra special.

Great hotel!

Wow! What a great little hotel. Perfect location overlooking Positano & the Mediterranean. 10 minute walk to the beach. The owners (husband & wife) are great hosts & very accommodating. Breakfast & espresso delivered to your room each morning. Rooms are super clean & very nice, with balconies. Have nothing negative to say. Would recommend to anyone! Thank you for a perfect visit!
