My wife and I had a great experience at the Hotel Royal Prisco. Our room was remarkably clean when we arrived and throughout our stay. Michelangelo gave us great advice of what to see and do in the Amalfi Coast. Additionally, there were three women by the name of Maria that helped us in different ways, from the front desk, to getting breakfast, and housekeeping. Lorella also was part of the team that made our stay memorable. Thanks to everyone.

Staying at the Royal Prisco was an absolute joy. The staff are friendly, kind and always willing to help us find our way. The location is perfect, just far enough away from the crowded shopping area but not too far to be inconvenient. It’s an easy walk up the mountain to many fantastic restaurants. Our suite had a terrace with beautiful views where we had breakfast every morning and shared a bottle of wine each evening. The room was beautiful and well equipped. The only negative was we couldn’t get the wifi to work. You will not be disappointed.

Authentic Italian decor, fabulous personal service, and breakfast is served in your room every morning! Best view in Positano! Breathtaking! The staff was very accommodating and it was very quiet and clean. Terrific Sushi restaurant next door too.

Pleasantly surprised at this thoroughly charming hotel perfectly situated in the middle of Positano! Beautiful traditional Italian decor with beautiful balcony! Stunning views and clean. Maria and all staff were excellent! A big shout out to kitchen staff for made to order breakfast. Delicious! Easy access down road to shops and beach and plenty of wonderful restaurants without hundreds of steps like most hotels. Highly recommend!!

This is a solid hotel a bit removed from the busiest areas of Positano (which was a plus in my mind). It’s high up from the water (bit of a hike with luggage in tow). Staff is very nice and there 24/7 for anything you need. Rooms were somewhat spartan and the bed was quite firm like sleeping on a rock, which may be a plus for some people? Our shower also drained incredibly slowly to the point where I thought it was clogged, but was told this is just due to the plumbing of the building. Not a huge deal but after a sandy day at the beach you might want a long hot shower. Breakfast was really good and delivered in the room where we had a balcony with a great view. Although I felt it was a bit expensive, for a 3 star hotel I think it was above average, and I can’t fault them for the price given the entire village was sold out when we were there.
