I traveled with my family to Costiera Amalfitana and stayed at Locanda Costa Diva from May 18 through the 21st. This hotel is run by the same family that owns it. You will feel like a celebrity while staying at Costa Diva. It is nestled at the edge of the mountain, in Praiano. One of the most romantic places on earth! Specifically my bed was a bit firmer than what I am used to, but the place, the people, the amazing breakfast and dinners at this hotel, make you forget all your problems and worries... It is truly a wonderful 5-star customer service hotel.

What a spot! Calm and peaceful after an exciting drive along the Amalfi Coast. Best view ever! Very friendly staff lead by the warm and irrepressible Flippo and host Elio - Mille Grazie! Food terrific - very fresh seafood and lovely pastas. Parking available - with an attendant. Good to make reservation ahead. Tables for 2 right on the edge with best views. Can accommodate much larger groups on terrace (still with great views). Hotel looks great with similar views; beautiful garden and many lemon trees - limoncello is the local standby. Linger here and forget the crowds in Positano or Amalfi. You will not forget the experience.

The boutique hotel has an amazing view and ambiance. The staff is VERY friendly and hospitable. Antonio is the best !!!
The restaurant is delicious and there is fresh fish everyday. We loved our balcony overlooking the water. Not far from the beach.

Wow what an amazing hotel with without a doubt the best view we've ever stayed at. We spent hours on TripAdvisor one cold dark Sunday in January trawling through all the hotels and this one came out tops. After a 5 month wait and desperate for sunshine we were not disappointed! The staff greeted us warmly and carried our luggage to the Marina Room with its own private terrace. Next was an absolutely delicious meal and glorious red wine served at the perfect room temperature. The owner was an effervescent Italian who we named Marlon after the Godfather :-) and all the staff were outstanding and so was the service. They even put together a mouthwatering picnic for us to eat down on a terrace overlooking the sea - paradise. The restaurant is number one in the area and is fully deserving. We ate 3 evening meals here and every one was fab. Don't worry about the calories, the steps in the area will put paid to that! The photos of this hotel don't do justice to how beautiful it actually is and to sit and eat on the terrace under the lemon trees watching the boats pass as the sun bounces on the water is amazing. Location wise it is perfect. It is so much quieter than the heaving tourist traps of Amalfi and Postiano and sits below the road so it is very quiet. It was a welcome retreat after the madness of driving to visit places. Omg don't go to the Amalfi Coast unless you have the stomach to cope with lunatic driving, sheer drops and a million steps. I can only shudder at what it must be like in peak season. One point to mention is we found parking on the road a few minutes walk away every day so avoided the ten euro a day chg. Another little gem we found by accident in Praiano was Cafe Mirante a small bar hidden away with an absolutely stunning view of Postiano. The cocktails are out of this world. Look it up! My only feedback is that we were disappointed to discover the hot tub didn't work and is in fact a cold tub which was a real shame. That said we would recommend this hotel 100%

My wife and I stayed in the Marina room for 6 nights and it is a simply adorable hotel. If you haven't been this part of Italy you have to appreciate all the hotels are mostly on the cliff side and the Costa Diva is not different. So it has a car park at the top and you walk down steps to the many layered hotel built into the cliff. The views are stunning with the entire hotel over looking the sea. There are many steps, in fact getting around this part of Italy involves lots of steps.
The Marina room has it's own terrace area and is at the bottom of the hotel, so it's very quiet and feels very homely. In the morning you open up the french doors to your own stunning view of the sea and the many boats whizzing back and forth to Capri and alike.
The people our just the loveliest, warm and friendly your ever likely to meet. Nothing is to much trouble and within a few days you feel part of the family, they are just so nice.
And the food...is really really nice. So nice we ate their 3 out of 6 days.
We really can't fault this hotel and can't wait to visit it again.
