The title says it all, this was definitely a good holiday...as long as we're not have to be to much in the room. The space was perfect but the room was very old and not very clean. We had a studio on the first floor. The space was perfect (!) We traveled with a little baby so the extra space (separate bedroom) was very welcome :-). But the furnture were to old (this has nothing to do with charming, it's just to old) Holes in the sofa, chairs that almost fell apart, very old bathroom, the bed was ok... The studio had high ceilings with beams... much dust and cobwebs... this is not ok, the cleaning must be much better in a hotel. I went to the Coop supermarket and bought some wet wipes and a duster to clean a little bit. I'm not a cleaning freak but this was to much and we had a stay of 14 nights...

Back to the positive things, very nice location, the food was very good (EXELENT) and also the outdoor location were you have breakfast and diner with lovely views was perfect! Also friendly staff and lovely dog :-)

Please do something about the cleaning staff and new furniture (I dont mean modern, I understand that it must be charming but this is just to old.

Tip for the visitors, a car is essential, 2 weeks was a bit too long...

We arrived about 10pm from Lugano one Friday night. Nothing was too much trouble for the owner Frederico. He is amazingly friendly and by 10:30pm we were already tucking into the best Fiorentine steak I have every had, with copious amounts of local red wine. In sunlight the next day the lovely peaceful location and gorgeous buildings of Villa Rigacci completed the perfect place for a long weekend, and retreat from day trips to nearby Florence. Frederico is a great character and even watched a football game with us, while serving drinks. Highly recommended!

Cosy room, with a terrasse and a lovely view. Breathtaking surroundings, a place to feel at home. In the center of fashion valley, close to outlets, wineyards, stunning nature. In a moment of quiet reflection, admire a scene that will live in my memory forever. Thanks to Frederico and staff.
