Description: In addition to the San Marco gate, the gateway to the historic center, just steps from the lake, a building of six hundred houses the restaurant Al Volt. Run by the Poli family since 1965, owes its name to the times that frame the entire room. Miriam and Sylviane will be glad to accompany between red and white, the soft light of the bedside lamp and candles, among the reflections of the mirrors. From the kitchen you can taste traditional dishes, a mix balanced between lake and land a modern twist by Maurizio and Tonina.

The many very positive reviews hardly do this restaurant justice. Dinning is both inside and (more preferable) outside. Staff possibly the most professional and friendly we encountered during our trip. Food exceptional including the widely commented upon sorbet (I won't comment further but order it). We'll definitely make a return trip.

We visited the restaurant and the food is excellent, service is very good. Very warm atmosphere.
We enjoyed very much and it a must Resturant when visiting the area.
We have been 10 people and all of us agreed that it was a very nice dinner.

We would like to thank to the people at the Resturant who have done all the possible efforts .

A real Italian celebration of fine food and good taste. The interior is elegantly plushy, white and red table clothes and decor, well tuned in an Italian ambient.
Every detail is sophisticatedly prepared and staffs are extremely friendly, with an educated smile, under vigilant eye of madame, a house of tradition.
Foods are well prepared and esthetically presented. The desert lemon mousse is excellent.
Red wine was served at a neighboring table like a complicated ceremony, celebrating Italian gourmet culture.

Booked this restaurant for dinner on the basis of the reviews here. We were at first a little disappointed to be eating inside on a warm evening but quickly got over that as we were welcomed by the very friendly staff and introduced to the eclectically decorated dining room - a must if you like red and white and crochet! The service was efficient and the food excellent.

Amazing fresh homemade pasta with local lake fish for my daughter and I and a perfectly cooked medium rare fillet of beef for my husband and son. The service was fabulous and all very friendly. Will definitely be back.
